Wenigzell is a small and quiet village in Styria.
Wenigzell is a small and quiet village in Styria. If you have a car, it can be a great place to stay while exploring the area. In winter there are winter sports options near by and in the summer you can mostly hike. I was lucky to be there when the weather was nice and despite it being January i could hike for hours in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the wonderful natural area around the village. The village itself doesn't have much to offer, there's one convenience store, a church, 2-3 shops which were mostly closed and that's about it. It is a perfect place, however, for those who want to get away from their busy life and simply disconnect.

There were various and healthy foods, nice staff in the restaurant. Although the pool in the spa was small, there was pleanty of space in the rest areas, the hotel did not seem crowded.
