Adelong is a quiet town, a one main street town, so this is not a place for travellers wanting a host of boutiques, shops and cafes etc. It is the rural beauty and the history of the old Adelong Gold mine that makes this small town so great. Close to other attractions like Tumut, Blowering Dam, Batlow and the Sugarpines Walk. Yarrongabilly Caves is a good day trip from here but worth it. But you need to find a great farm stay place to stay at and that help you make the most of feeling you are part of the countryside life in Adelong and surronunds.JoanneAustralia
