I was thrilled that the begonias in the botanic gardens were still in full bloom ( mid April) . I was moved by the exhibit on the Eureka Stockage. I was impressed with the large number of elegant historic buildings in the city.

Ballarat has much to offer all ages. Plenty for young children, teenagers, young adults and older adults. It has many good places to eat, all reasonably priced, from coffee shops, up market restaurants and good pub bistro food. Ballarat is easy to get around, just use google maps or your navcam

A wonderful city with history, family experiences and a great lake surrounded by trees, play equipment and restaurants. Lots of experiences for families to enjoy especially the Eureka Discovery Centre , Sovereign Hill settlement and the Aura night show, Art Museum and Avenue of Honour. Beds were pretty comfortable and the set up was suitable for a young family (1 king bed, 2x singles). The bathroom towels were great - size was very large and all the towels were very clean. Room and bathroom were generally very clean. Didn't use the facilities like the microwave but could see it being handy. Hairdryer in bathroom was useful. We actually didn't use the heating or cooling; the room was very temperate. The location was really great though; short walk to lots of shops and restaurants.

I have to travel to Ballarat a lot for family reasons, and Sovereign Park is is one of the most reliable stays. Sometimes the rates are high, and often availability is low because it is so popular, but I always check here first because my stay is ALWAYS comfortable and easy, the rooms are always clean and well appointed, and there are never any disappointing surprises like a hard pillow, a stained blanket or sink or dirty window.

The property was very private but easily accessible, it was close to everything nearby. The house itself was immaculately clean and had a very homely feeling. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials you need. The staff were very contactable and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be staying here when i go to ballarat next.

The hotel grounds were nicely upkept with a lovely duckpond and rose bushes. Smooth and easy check-in and check-out process, with friendly and efficient front desk staff. Large, accessible courtyard rooms with comfortable beds and individual parking bays that felt private, homey and relaxing. Good location in Ballarat.

Reception was so friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless, we asked for an extra blanket and were brought 2, promptly. We were just so impressed. And the fact that we were able to connect to our own streaming services felt like a huge win. Especially when the boutique hotels make it so difficult.

The room was spacious, I liked that it had a separate living area. The hotel team is very friendly and did their best to accommodate for our needs. I like that they stock up the room with breakfast basics every day (bread, cereals, jam, butter, coffee, milk, joice etc.)
