Everything you could need, had a full size fridge, was an up to date neat little cabin, honestly great value for money and we would definitely stay there again. The interaction with reception was friendly and informative.
Located in the heart of Bega, Bega Village Motor Inn boasts free Wi-Fi, an indoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a DVD player.

Being the Architect for the new Bega Police Station, and the Contractor going into liquidation, Sadly, my visit to Bega was cancelled.

Property was beautiful, so special waking up with the kangaroos and going to sleep with the sound of frogs and bats.

The view of Bega valley and township from the nearby lookout was very nice.
Bit hilly to walk around very far if not used to it.
Tad disappointed a visit to the Bega Cheese factory didn't have a tour of its production facilities.
Nice meal at the Commercial hotel just down the road.
Good range of shops, banks etc. nearby.
Loved the older 1800s built buildings with shop to road awnings - they built them to last!
Avoid the Dr. George Mountain road if travelling from Bermagui to Bega unless you like a gravelly, rutted road.

Bega's biggest attraction is the cheese factory - however this is closed due to COVID-19 (this is no longer a valid reason - we were able to stop at the Bodalla cheese stop, which was extremely busy).

We were there to meet up with 9 friends, 7 of whom live in Bega area. We had a great meal in the Bowling Club, but had to move on next day, driving up the beautiful Bega Valley to Cooma. From previous visits I know Bega to be a fine town with great countryside, both coastal and rural. I also love your cheese!

The town was obviously struggling - even before the fires.
The town was obviously struggling - even before the fires. Typical of regional towns across Australia. One baker and one cafe open for breakfast at 8.45 am. Haven't been to Bega in 20 years and it was a shock. Hope they get the injection of $$$ they need to rejuvenate. Worth a look - definitely worth helping via tourist dollars.
Need a car to get around.

The customer service was very good, especially given the power outage, terrible heat and smoke haze. We only stayed overnight heading to Sydney. I'd like to revisit when we can stay and linger. Great room, good facilities with a comfortable bed.
The place was good, it was certainly value for money- we family of three got 5 cots/beds and all slept like babies after a long drive. Comfy beds and bathroom is clean. Overall a good place for a short 1 or 2 night stay for families, couples or solo travelers. The location is fantastic too, to explore the beautiful Bega and the historic places nearby steeped in history and culture. Thank you.
We were looking for a base to visit parks and beaches along the NSW south coast. The motel was well located for our needs, and furthermore, surprised us with friendly helpful staff and very comfortable, albeit basic, amenities. The price was also very reasonable given we visited during a peak period.
Overall nice and comfortable stay.nice comfy bad..everyday cleaning services.. property at ground floor so can park outside your room..nice front garden for morning tea..in main CBD area of bega so location is perfect..Woolies and Coles walking distance
Didn't have breakfast. The location was perfect for our needs. We stayed for one night only after a party re-opening the Robbie Burns Hotel in Wyndham, I liked the octagonal island, although we didn't stay in it.
This was a budget motel, so we were delighted with the newish bathroom. The kitchenette was tiny but adequate to have made a simple meal if we’d required to make one. Value for money, modest but good.
very good clean and not too far from beach town Tathra and Merimbula. Very nice staff at Bega Caravan park. Bega town is beautiful almost everything available shopping grocery and three pharmacies.
Reception Staff was friendly and helpful. Centrally located in Bega with all the amenities around. Located very close to NRMA EV charging station which was a big factor for me choosing this place.
impressed with how clean my room was- very good and something that rates highly for me. I would stay here again - its in a handy location to the shopping area..
