Several people tried to talk me out of visiting Bunbury as it has a reputation as having a lot of homeless people and drug abuse. The streets are crowded with discarded trash and furniture. However, there is a beautiful beach which wasn't crowded.

Bunbury is a beautiful seaside town with accessible beaches that go on forever. Try bodysurfing at the lighthouse beach. The Bunbury Farmers Market is open 7 days a week and is a must stop for everything local - produce, meat, baked goods, cheese ….. The town is clean with every type of store you would need for supplies. Don’t miss the Dolphin Discovery Centre. I loved this place.

Bunbury is our regular holiday destination when we dont want to drive too far, but we know that we can relax and take in the beautuful beach views every time we holiday there. It is the centre of everything down South with just a short drive to Busselton, Margaret River or Dunsborough. It never disappoints and the weather is perfect in summer for swimming at the beach. Koombanna bay being our absolute fave for families. There is also plenty of places to eat right at your doorstep to choose from, including the new 'Froth Bunbrewery' yummy and of course lots of wineries to visit :-)

Lovely place has everything you need in shops etc good eating places around town bakeries etc. Great place to base yourself if you have a car to travel around to Busselton, Margaret River wineries, must see Gnomesville very interesting 👍 and the most amazing sunsets we have ever seen ! An easy 2 hour drive from Perth. Fantastic roads 👍 We will be back to explore more 👍
Staff at reception were excellent. They were very accomodating in switching us to a ground floor room on check in which made it much easier for my husband. Check in and check out was easy. We had caught the train to Bunbury and with the free bus to the Visitor’s Centre we found we were across the road from the Rose Hotel so location was perfect for us. We also received a $25 voucher to use for a meal so it was a great value stay.
The beautiful scenic river which is just beside ur villa and also the wonderful cycling track or walking track which stretches for about 2 miles along the river was a wonderful touch.
The accommodation was wonderful, clean and cozy. Big space for up to 8 paxs for great family fun. The location is also just a 6 mins drive to the big supermarkets. Would be coming back again when I am traveling to Bunbury!
We always enjoy staying at Clifton Motel due to proximity to the center, Back beach, big rooms and nice poll that most of the time you can have for yourself. Hotel has a bit dated décor but if that is not an issues, everything else is just perfect for a few days stay. If you are lucky to get the room with a balcony, even better.
Stayed a night with friends and family to celebrate my birthday. Had dinner at Market Eating Place which is an easy walk back to Lord Forrest. I really like this hotel and stay here often. Love the retro styling, floating around the indoor pool and having a drink on the balcony.
Lovely Bar and Food area. Food was delicious and they were good sized portions. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel recommended the Townhouse for breakfast and it did not disappoint. A Great Overnight Stay.
The indoor spa and pool, which I enjoyed ,even though ,due to a maintenance issue the pool wasn’t heated.
Loved the closeness to the beach and its position so close to the imposing lighthouse
The hotel has been fully refurbished and the hotel and the rooms were fantastic and clean. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar which offered beer brewed at their local brewery.
The house is close to the coastline and we had a great walk at the Maiden trail. It is also peaceful and perfect if you are looking for a good night sleep.
