The owner was very friendly, telling us about places to eat and what to see in the surrounding area. The location is amazing right in the rainforest. If you're lucky you might encounter a cassowary on the property.
We were the only ones staying on the day so we had the whole garden for ourselves to explore. If you don't want to go out to eat you can also use the BBQ on the veranda, which is what we did.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice and quiet stay in nature.

Sally and Steve (owners) are really kind and they do the best to make your stay be amazing. The communication beforehand makes expectations be true to what you will experience. I have stayed 3 times here and would stay again when I come back.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest is one of the most beatiful things I have ever seen. As soon as you cross the river you enter in a different world. The rainforest is so dense that you feel you are in the jungle. And then the beach is really stunning. Just a shame about the salties. If all of this is not enough, the reef there is just amazing. I wish I could spend a year around there

Many restaurants to choose from to eat.
Many restaurants to choose from to eat. Horse riding was fantastic through the rainforest and onto Myall Beach. Beautiful scenery, clean air you can choose to do as much as you like or as little. Just a beautiful quiet part of the world.

Beautiful place … so peaceful, with so much nature to soak in. We took the ferry over and drove the Bloomfield track up to Cooktown and back along the main highway. Actually saw a cassowary with two chicks. No crocodiles though 😁
We stayed at Cape Trib Beach house, which is right on the beach. Food was great and the accommodation was also really good.

Remember to do a small grocery before heading onto the ferry. There's a Woolworths supermarket in Mossman. But if you forget, there's a small friendly grocer in cape trib.
Obviously pack insect spray, always carry a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. The staff at the restaurants and cafes are very welcoming, friendly, food is amazing, and the whole place is a vibe. Very relaxing, lots of adventures and tours. And the scenery is beyond picturesque.

Cape tribulation is a beautiful place to visit and truly relax with the beauty of the magnificent ancient rainforest and the proximity ro the reef and the ability ro go snorkelling and see the stunnig barrier reef.
We drove there which was good as we were able to go to the Daintree discovery centre, and go o amber of boardwalks ,each with their own beauty.
The beaches are stunning .Whilst you can't swim here for safety ,you can still swim at waterholes such as Mason's waterhole.
We were only there one night and could have easily stayed longer.

Loved the icecream shop!
Loved the icecream shop! There are two - we went to the Daintree Icecream shop twice in one day! Cape Trib beach at sunset is magical. We swam at the Masons cafe swimming hole but if you have been to Mossman Gorge I wouldn’t bother. We ate lunch at Thorntons the food was delicious and the view incredible.

Stayed here as the last stop for my parents 3 week trip who were visiting from Ireland. We all fell in love with the place and wished we could have stayed longer! The tropical garden, the beach view and the spacious house were sensational. Dean and & Jodie were so lovely giving us all the info about the area and most importantly how to spot a cassowary! Thank you both so much we had the best time ☺️ Also the lunch in the cafe across the road is amazing too!
Easy to find and get there. Lots of lovely discoveries within the property: the discovery trail with with its magic, quirky, statues. The very creative 9 holes mini golf trail in the gorgeous rainforest. The lovely hosts who couldn't be more attentive, looking after you, being helpful and ready to awnser your questions, advice for things to do and have a chat. There's good restaurants nearby, interesting outings, walks, reef Safari eyc.
Matt was the best host! He was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. The property was beautiful and the experience of sleeping surrounded by nature cannot be beat! There was plenty of places to relax and explore right on the property. We also really enjoyed all the exotic fruits for breakfast, and my daughters loved the horse.
Honestly we could not have been more impressed. The setting is astonishingly beautiful, the cabins are luxurious and the breakfast is delicious. We thought the bowl of fruit was supposed to last us two days so we were very pleasantly surprised when we got a whole new one the second day! Amazing value, would definitely go back.
The location was excellent being very close to Cape Tribulation. Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.

We had a brilliant stay at Cape Trib Farm, it was the perfect place to wind down and disconnect from the city life. Jeremy and Sam were excellent hosts. The fruit bowls for breakfast added a unique touch to what was overall an excellent experience in Cape Tribulation.
The cabins are set right alongside a small creek that runs through the property and is surrounded by lush rainforest. The outlook from the cabin is fantastic.
The property is also close to a number of restaurants within cape tribulation
The room was very clean in such natural nature which was great experience to heard the wildlife .I slept so well and the beach was very close of the hostel.
The mobile reception was very good because the tower is just 50Meters away .
The location was excellent. The beach house was lovely, equipped adequately, towels were lovely and soft. The bedding was nice and clean. The restaurant staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The selection of drinks were good.
Very clean and well appointed cabins in the tropics. Excellent pool. Conveniently located near beach and rainforest board walk. Would definitely stay again. We had 2 ensuite cabins for family of 4, with older teens.
Cute family style huts, set in beautiful rainforest. Nice restaurant on site (Meal was lovely), with a pool available to cool off in. Great place to stay in Cape Tribulation!
