Nothing. Unexpected as we had previous used the motel. Lack of assistance from the manager following identification of the room being unsuitable and the lack of motel/ away from home accommodation type appearance. Dirty, and safety risks, physical and other. Did not present as a professional motel but as social govt housing & other. The service provider did not provide alternatives or engagement for discussion on customer relations.
We choose not to stay in the room or the facility.

The receptionist upon return of us to return key and discuss the next morning was very appropriate.

If you are wheelchair bound, then do not go there.

The bed head was broken and it had only the base .Hard like sleeping on bricks . The lock was moving when you put the key in. The air conditioner had no remote , When I went to notifie the manager he said he would come and check it all out .But he told me to stand on a chair and turn the aircon on but it didnt work anyway . We stay one night becauese he told us it was fully booked out . we couldnt sleep the whole night oit was just to hard I have a back issue .But he didnt care .so the next morning my husband and I spoke to him abouttheissues and asked for our money back .He said he would refund for one night but there was no way we were going to ok that .Specially when he said he would come check it but he never did . He then told us it was the honeymoon suite .Thats when i said you need to go and do a few repairs firt before you offer t to anyone,Number 30 please check it out first foryoureslf and if not happy dont stay and get a refund .Wouldnt recomended this place to anyone .We contacted adifferent place paid less and it was 100 percent betterAnthonyAustralia - 10Scored 10
Cleveland is a great place to visit.
Cleveland is a great place to visit. It is easy to get around Cleveland. There are many great places in and around Cleveland to dine, and such a variety of cuisines. There are interesting art galleries, craft making places, libraries, Raby Bay Harbour, historic places like The Old Courthouse, etc. There is access to the ferries and water taxis to Stradbroke Island which has beautiful beaches and walks and sometimes whales and dolphin sightings. There is access to major shopping centres at Victoria Point, Carindale or Garden City. There is a train station to take you comfortably to the city of Brisbane where you can cruise down the river. There are buses to get around. Cleveland itself has some peaceful walkways and bike paths for you to stroll, ride, and enjoy.

Mum passed away on 13 June. 2021. We had 3 rooms booked. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we were unable to travel to Cleveland. I have given Bay Air a top rating because of their consideration and understanding in this situation. With only 1 days notice, on a non refundable booking, they did not hesitate to put our booking on hold for us. If theirs rooms are as welcoming as their staff, I cant wait to stay there.
