Loved the welcoming, high-end interiors that added a touch of warmth and luxury to our trip. The artwork was an added attraction as was the high quality of the bedding and linen and the toiletries provided. The snacks and refreshments were generous with good quality teas and coffee pods in offer.

Albert Hotel Daylesford, hotel in Daylesford

Situated in Daylesford, The Albert Hotel features free WiFi in public areas and free private parking.

Hotel position ok to town centre,we had a room downstairs ,and on arrival had a odour. If you are a AFL follower cannot pick up free to air tv (channel 7) also channels 9-10. The shower door when opening not much room to enter shower between the open door, and shower wall. Limited parking front of rooms off street parking no street lighting, we did expect room to be serviced each day for emptying rubbish ,and top up with amenities. The price, and locality are ok but for the few negatives I have mentioned I dought I would re book again

Lovely country town, everybody helpful and friendly,...

Lovely country town, everybody helpful and friendly, especially at the hotel. Great little shopping and restaurants, cafes, etc. Beautiful scenery and surrounding areas. unfortunately we didn't have time to visit any spas, but will definitely go again. The only downfall was the taxi service, which we had ordered to take us to my daughter's wedding. It didn't turn up, and after many phone calls, finally out hotel manager got one for us. Ditto when we left the reception, didnt show. Worse, was the limo that my son-in-in law had organised to take him and my daughter to their accommodation, didn't show after the reception. So everybody left, and they were left standing. Had to get a friend to come and get them, Spoilt a lovely day for them, as he had planned a romantic surprise. No real apology from the company, just refunded the money.

Daylesford is a Rural Victoria gem, filled with art galleries and great shopping, but most of all an awesome atmosphere where everyone is welcomed. The springs are closeby and wellness spas are abundant, as are a host of other attractions, but you will need transport (car/motorbike) to make the most of it. The annual Pride ChillOut festival over the long labour day weekend is a must, a weekend filled with a host of events and where all the Daylesford businesses get involved. A truly magical time.

It was easy to spend 3 days in Daylesford visiting galleries, parks and the lake area. The food was excellent at the cafes and restaurants I visited, especially The Farmers Arms Hotel which also had a lovely outdoor area. If you’re into second hand shopping, you must visit the Mill Market and op shops too!

Daylesford is wonderful, I visit a few times a year.

Daylesford is wonderful, I visit a few times a year. Lovely restaurants, cafes, shops, people and a superb calmness that is perfect for the soul on a weekend away. Farmers Arms pub has a great local feel, raffle on a Friday is fun. Convent for scones is a great experience and history lesson. Plenty more to do, if you so desire... but a chilled weekend with great company is the the way I like to experience Daylesford.

As long time lovers of Daylesford we can safely say this accommodation has surpassed our expectations in every way. Every single aspect of this home has been immaculately planned. There’s not a single thing you could want for! From the tiling to the tea cups every detail has been such a pleasant and luxurious surprise. Getting to enjoy a girls weekend away with our own bathrooms was such a treat. We are completely obsessed with this house and can’t wait to return.

Location in a few blocks for the centre of town and very near the Market which is well worth a visit and a short walk to the lake. The building is a unique design worth looking at and the property is well-maintained and has everything you might need, including wood for the fire. Ideal for two couples. Daylesford is a nice, central spot with plenty to do and an easy distance from the other neighboring towns. Autumn is a great time to visit and we had a great time.

The 1 Bedroom Apartment was lovely and clean in an older style building converted to Hotel Rooms complete with a fabulous view from a private Verandah overlooking Lake Daylesford. The Apartment also had another from porch which was great for the morning Sun. Lovely and quiet except for the morning wake up of Cockatoos by the lake.

The house is in a quiet location and close enough to town to be able to walk. It had everything that we could possibly need in a house. The cupboards and drawers were marked so we knew where everything was. It is very tastefully styled and very comfortable house. We will definately be back. This house was exceptional.
