it suited our purposes as a stopover and launching spot for a visit to Uluru. The room had a nice appearance. Surprisingly the bathroom had a superfluous, but lovely large vanity cabinets (4) that travelers would scarcely need, yet no towel rails at all. Overall the property was quite attractive and offers the convenience of a cafe/shop, restaurant, bar and petrol station.

This roadhouse is one I drive past usually but it is a good spot ! It has comfy rooms which are clean and well heated / cooled . It is possible to lark right next to the room and the roadhouse is next door so food and pub are very handy. I would not stay for more than one night but its a good reasonably priced option when travelling on Stuart highway

Erldunda is a convenient location if you want to do a one...
Erldunda is a convenient location if you want to do a one day trip to Uluru, or need a stop for a night. It has some interesting attractions with the Centre of the centre landmark and an Emu Farm attraction. It has the convenience of Caravan, Camping and Motel accommodation and is only 200 km approx from Alice Springs and 260 km from Uluru. The only two down sides for me was that the floors in the motel room were creaky and very limited internet access which was only in the reception area.

Clean & comfortable overnight stay on our way to Uluru.
Clean & comfortable overnight stay on our way to Uluru. Enjoyed meeting "Cluck Norris" the resident rooster living with the kangaroos and camels in the wildlife enclosure. There is also an emu enclosure onsite. Were advised not to drink the tap water as it was bore water. Were given bottled water in the mini fridge to drink. Squeaky floor boards in the cabins and we could hear the next door people walking about at night. Amazing sunset! Specially built viewer's platform to gaze upon the spectacular colours! Overall it was a pleasant stay.
