Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort, hotel in Exmouth

Boasting ocean or marina views from your private balcony, Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort overlooks Exmouth's stunning Sunrise Beach and offers an infinity pool, restaurant and bar.

Our whole stay at Mantarays was very enjoyable. The facilities they offer are a well thought out, well presented, professional hotel. The restaurant, in particular, was very good. Good food, wines and service in an extremely pleasant environment. We also used the free laundry facilities which were excellent. No complaints.

If you are interested in the marine environment, snorkelling, seeing turtles lay their eggs and baby turtles hatch, and swimming with whale sharks and humpback whales then a visit to Exmouth and the Ningaloo Reef are a must. Many of the above happen at different times of the year, with some overlapping, so there is always something special happening.

    I thought Exmouth was fascinating.

I thought Exmouth was fascinating. We did a snorkel tour and a Whale Shark tour which were both excellent. The town is small but there is so much to do in the ocean. The snorkelling at Turquoise Bay and Ospey was fantastic. The turtle beaches were great to visit during hatching season to watch the hatchlings scramble to the sea. The ocean is filled with such a diversity of marine life. It was fascinating. Eating out is expensive in Exmouth but there is an IGA grocery store where you can buy nearly every needed. I also would strongly advise people traveling by car to stock up on groceries in Woolworths at Carnarvon while driving up there. If you like a good coffee, go to the Bamboo Cafe in the mall. They have great salads, muffins, and sushi as well

Exmouth is amazing. The surrounding landscape is incredible. The access to Ningaloo Reef is very good. Lots of tour operators to get you onto the reef. But you need a vehicle to get around easily as there are no buses and limited taxis.

We went on a whale shark snorkeling adventure and 2 days on a dive charter. Exmouth really is about Ningaloo reef and its marine mega fauna and other beasties. It was Lovely to come back to piping hot showers, enjoy the evening vibes of the shopping centre where all essentials were available. Laid back and friendly.

The ambience, location and facilities were great. Impressive and cool foyer. The pool was wonderful with children's pool separate and cosy egg shaped cabanas to escape into from the sun. The layout of the hotel room looking over the lily pond, swimming pool, beach and restaurant was extremely relaxing and the air con was excellent. Toiletries provided were lovely. The food was wonderful and the staff were friendly and quick to assist.

Great location close to shops (there is one shopping area nearby) and on the northern edge of town (away from the busier industrial end of town). Facilities were good. I wouldn't say it's a modern fitout but not too dated either. Perfect for family get away. Suited us well for a 7 day stay.

A very handsome man, maybe the owner let me feed the wild emus. He put bread inside my palm and the emu at it without touching me. I also liked how the entire staff welcomed you as family. Lastly, the laundry facilities are stellar.
