As a base for exploring the region, it is ideally located and very quiet at night (barring loud-mouthed restaurant patrons). The staff are really helpful and kind. The restaurant is of great quality, providing fresh produce locally sourced wherever possible. The hotel is very easily accessible and provides off street parking in a private area just outside the rooms behind a tall hedge for extra shade and privacy. I have stayed in May and now January - both excellent stays. I would definitely return and plan to do so. (I'm pretty fussy about sheets and cleanliness too)

I was telling my daughter that I can't wait for my next visit. The room was beautiful and it was very peaceful. We had a meal their and they were really nice. A really nice place to eat have a few drinks and then stay a night or two or more. My first time visiting and it won't be my last.

I grew up around these suburbs. It was nice for a stay-cation to get away for the night. But I wouldn’t recommend tourist travel from interstate or from overseas to come here. There are much better places in south Australia to explore.DavidAustralia
