Some lovely shops and heritage buildings.
Some lovely shops and heritage buildings. The museum at the tourist information centre was great and the staff very helpful. Great antique shop and the German arms hotel had great atmosphere and food as did the German spoon restaurant. Otto's bakery were very accommodating when I ordered Bee string cakes for a day they don't normally bake them. They were to die for. The town gets very busy of a weekend end so get there early to get parking. Beautiful country side and surrounds when you go for a drive. The Beerenberg outlet was good for a visit as well.

Amble at Hahndorf was classy accommodation with all the right touches of homeliness. The kitchen had all you could want to cook your own meals and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom balcony looked out onto a lovely country vista with native birds, ducks and chooks. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the main street of Hahndorf which is well known for its eateries and gift shops.

Huge range of restuarants, cafes, and sweets shops selling delicious fudge. Other gourmet produce, such as quality cheese, can also be found close by. There are also some cool German craft shops, which are great for a browse and pretty expensive if you want to make a purchase. Monarto Safari Park is also a short drive from Hahndorf and well worth a visit.

Hahndorf is a cute and slightly kitsch town.
Hahndorf is a cute and slightly kitsch town. Weekends during the day the main street is bustling with holiday makers and day-trippers but at night it gets very quiet and almost has no ambience, which surprised us. Pre-booking tables for dinner on a Fri & Sat night is a must as is pre-booking wine tasting experiences around the area. Riding a bike is very easy and a beautiful way to see the Hills.
We had the Spa room Had both a spa bath and walk in shower which was great. Well equipped room complete with toaster microwave and utensils etc if you want to eat in. Parking is great, staff good, location fabulous. Great TV access to streaming services which allowed us to watch the highlights of days sporting event we had come to attend. I've stayed at the Manna before and it never disappoints Walk out right into heart of Hahndorf and enjoy this beautiful town full of history and great cafes etc
Amble Over was excellent.... spacious, clean and with beautiful views - horses, birds and the surrounding hills. The location is excellent for the town of Hahndorf, literally 2 mins down the road into the main street. The apartment itself is spacious, airy and contains absolutely everything you could need; all well signed too. The attention to detail right from check in to departure was faultless. Highly recommended.
Great location for Hahndorf shopping, restaurants, also close to some great wineries Hahndorf Hill, Shaw & Smith, Nepenthe and Sidewood.
Hill cottage was very well equipped, clean and spacious. We all enjoyed the breakfast provisions and welcome bottle of wine.
Andy and Mandy were lovely hosts we would definitely stay again.
Fabulous location. Super comfy rooms and so clean! Everything you need. We were allowed to park before room was ready so we could start exploring hahndorf. So close to everything on foot. Cars are safe in locked parking lot. Had table and chairs at your door to sit outside plus shady areas to sit and have a drink.
A well located, clean and with all the facilities required, what’s not to like. The Owl Place is within easy walking distance of Hahndorf’s main street and this allows you to eat in or out, depending on your choice. The hosts are friendly making this an easy choice for a stay in the Adelaide hills.
Hahndorf retreat is located in a beautiful leafy street, it is a flat and pleasant walk to town where there are many bars, cafe, restaurants shops.
Beds were very comfortable, there was lots of space to spread out and enjoy. Lovely back yard area if we had more time we may have lit the fire.
Great attention to detail. Everything we needed was in the villa including very nice welcome gifts and breakfast supplies. Wood fire was fantastic. Villa was in a quiet location but only a very short walk to the main street.
We loved the location - close enough to walk to everything, but not in the midst of the very busy street.
We loved the setting amongst a beautiful garden full of birds and wildlife.
Perfect size for our small group.
Great Location - Friendly Staff - Room good size for our two night stay - comfortable beds, kitchenette a bonus for breakfast and easy access to all the delights of Hahndorf. Would highly recommend. Would go back.
Location of the hotel was fantastic. Just off the main street of Handorf. Cafes & Restaurants all well within walking distance. Rooms were spacious, clean and had all the facilities we needed for our family.
The accommodation was centrally located and the room was spacious and decorated in a way that felt very homely and extremely comfortable. Whilst centrally located the room was very quiet and secure.
The location. The location was great as we had easy access to the main street of Hahndorf. Also liked the microwave, cups, plates, cutlery, dish cloth and tea towel.
Location, location, location, right in the heart of Hahndorf. Easy walk to a great Hotel (German Arms) plus an easy walk to breakfast (2C). Had a great time.
Good range of teas coffee etc full cooking facilities but other than toast in the morning we ate out to enjoy the excellent meals available in Hahndorf
