Having read the reviews I wondered if it really was that clean. It was! Fabulous. The reviews were why we chose this place. And it was excellent. Even a bucket and a squeegy to clean the windscreens. Definitely our go to spot in Holbrook.

We stopped overnight en route to Melbourne because it's an easy 4 hour drive to Melbourne from there. It's a cute little town with good amenities and a submarine as the main tourist attraction.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Returned Serviceman's club, but the Holbrook Hotel and the Riverina Hotel are also good options.
There are 2 museums in the town, the Woolpackers and Australian Pottery Museums, which would be worth visiting.

I pass through every couple of weeks. It's not a bad little town... Apart from the Hotel, most coffee shops are OK. A good sandwich at JBs and a poached egg if required.
The museum across the road is interesting. It is a relatively cheap admission and well worth it to understand submarines. They will close if we do not visit these places, which would be a great loss.

This motel is within easy walking distance of the pub, which serves excellent food. The bowling club also offers meals and is also within easy walking distance. With easy access to the Hume Freeway in both directions, this motel is a perfect overnight stop for travellers and is well-priced.
The motel is set off the main road, so there was no traffic noise. Located in the main street, it is a short walk to the hotel for meals and other shops are nearby, including an IGA. The submarine is also within walking distance.
Each room has a carport attached to the room. In the room is a microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, cutlery and crockery.
In the garden were large grapefruit trees with delicious fruit.
Arriving at Holbrook Haven at night after a 5.5h drive was like receiving a warm hug from an old friend. Jan, Vic and Mo made me feel immediately welcome. The breakfast facilities and treats were delicious and much appreciated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was perfect for a quick overnight stay (although I would have happily stayed much longer).
The team at Holbrook Town Centre Motor Inn were very friendly and helpful. Providing guidance on heating the room to make it warm and stay warm. Our room was very quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. The room was very clean when we arrived and fresh air had been able to circulate between guests. Great family accommodation.
Old hotel that has been under renovation. Room was nicely decorated in Deco style navy blue and gray.
Bar and restaurant is part of the building with a large choice of drinks and menu was very eclectic.
Holbrook is known for being the "submarine Town" and the HMAS Otway and museum was directly across the street.
Great stopover hotel. Lovely modern rooms with mini kitchen. Very comfortable and really good to have undercover parking for our car right in front of our bedrooms. Very good aircon! Holbrook is quiet but and interesting little village.
We were traveling from Brisbane to Melbourne and used this hotel as a stopover. It met all our expectations as a budget stop. It was comfortable and warm. It had good WiFi and TV, plenty of hot water for showering and a comfy bed.
Location was great, contactless check in and check out was easy. Everything was there that we needed, hot shower, comfortable bed, good heating and a kettle for coffee and tea. Short distance to the Holbrook hotel for dinner.
Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and super friendly staff. Nice linen. Site is quiet, well maintained and pet friendly. Walking distance to Chinese restaurant, bakery and servo is a bonus. Beautiful sunsets.
Perfect (front) room. Very neat, clean and cozy, great bed and bathroom, and an easy walk to the pubs. And the owners are a delight (they clearly try very hard to provide an excellent stay). Will use always
Holbrook Haven is ideal for an overnight stay being half way between Melbourne and Sydney. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with kind, friendly hosts. I had an enjoyable stay.
The hotel is of the older style country pubs thus the facilities and rooms are a bit dated. However the evening meal was excellent, staff friendly but overall a comfy stay.
This hotel has become our regular stop-over on the family road trips to Sydney. Not fancy but has everything we need for a night, and hosts are friendly and helpful.
Great experience in an old fashioned but rejuvenated country pub. Very clean shared facilities. Crisp white bed linen. Nice people. Delicious roast dinner.
Stopped there on the way from Sydney to Melbourne. Clean, tidy hotel. Off street car parking,.
Able to eat in the hotel bar- great food and good drinks.
