Beds were good, clean sheets, sofa good. A small table to sit at would be nice. Place was clean but needed a deep clean from top to bottom to freshen it up.
Needs some cosmetic work done in the shower area.

Having read the reviews I wondered if it really was that clean. It was! Fabulous. The reviews were why we chose this place. And it was excellent. Even a bucket and a squeegy to clean the windscreens. Definitely our go to spot in Holbrook.

We stopped overnight en route to Melbourne because it's an easy 4 hour drive to Melbourne from there. It's a cute little town with good amenities and a submarine as the main tourist attraction.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Returned Serviceman's club, but the Holbrook Hotel and the Riverina Hotel are also good options.
There are 2 museums in the town, the Woolpackers and Australian Pottery Museums, which would be worth visiting.

I pass through every couple of weeks. It's not a bad little town... Apart from the Hotel, most coffee shops are OK. A good sandwich at JBs and a poached egg if required.
The museum across the road is interesting. It is a relatively cheap admission and well worth it to understand submarines. They will close if we do not visit these places, which would be a great loss.

This motel is within easy walking distance of the pub, which serves excellent food. The bowling club also offers meals and is also within easy walking distance. With easy access to the Hume Freeway in both directions, this motel is a perfect overnight stop for travellers and is well-priced.
It was a quirky old fashioned hotel, with lots of rooms. It had all the safety features required and was extremely clean. The staff were friendly and obliging. It was a bit of a shock to find that the bathroom and toilet facilities were communal, however they were also extremely clean, not far from the room and easy to get to. Knowing we would arrive around the time the kitchen closed we phoned earlier to order a meal. Reception were very amenable and the very tasty meal was available on arrival.
The motel is set off the main road, so there was no traffic noise. Located in the main street, it is a short walk to the hotel for meals and other shops are nearby, including an IGA. The submarine is also within walking distance.
Each room has a carport attached to the room. In the room is a microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, cutlery and crockery.
In the garden were large grapefruit trees with delicious fruit.
The property is well located with easy access to the city centre. We stayed in a cabin. The cabin is spacious and would be comfortable for stays longer than one night. There is sufficient space to park one vehicle and the surrounding gardens are impeccable. The hosts Bob & Deb are attentive and charming. We would not hesitate recommending Holbrook Motor Village to family and friends.
Arriving at Holbrook Haven at night after a 5.5h drive was like receiving a warm hug from an old friend. Jan, Vic and Mo made me feel immediately welcome. The breakfast facilities and treats were delicious and much appreciated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was perfect for a quick overnight stay (although I would have happily stayed much longer).
A nice, clean, well maintained cabin with a pool, easy to stop and stay at to break up long trips, friendly and welcoming staff. We were pleasantly surprised that the cabin we stayed in was a bit more spacious than your typical caravan park cabin and very comfortable.
We were traveling from Brisbane to Melbourne and used this hotel as a stopover. It met all our expectations as a budget stop. It was comfortable and warm. It had good WiFi and TV, plenty of hot water for showering and a comfy bed.
Perfect (front) room. Very neat, clean and cozy, great bed and bathroom, and an easy walk to the pubs. And the owners are a delight (they clearly try very hard to provide an excellent stay). Will use always
Clean and comfortable stopover in between Sydney and Melbourne. Friendly staff and lovely location. Great hotel balcony to stop and watch the world go by, or the submarine that is across the road!
Really enjoyed our night at the Riverina Hotel. Was driving through so looking for somewhere else to stop over. Great service and yummy pub meal downstairs. Comfy bed, just what we needed
Holbrook Haven is ideal for an overnight stay being half way between Melbourne and Sydney. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with kind, friendly hosts. I had an enjoyable stay.
This hotel has become our regular stop-over on the family road trips to Sydney. Not fancy but has everything we need for a night, and hosts are friendly and helpful.
