The Kooralbyn is located in a beautiful and tranquil area of Queensland. The staff were friendly, the meals at the local tavern were fresh and reasonably priced, and there was an abundance of local wildlife to watch. The walk between the tavern and the accommodation is lovely. The beds were comfortable, linen clean, and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The airconditioning and heating worked well.

Location remote but that’s obvious if booking mountain stay. Host was very friendly and welcoming and had left us down home made pasta. We ate out at the pub that night though so didn’t eat it. Great spot for glamping. Terrible rain when we were there which made moving the car difficult and a very slippery path down to the hut so be prepared for that if the weather is bad. Bathroom out the back is a long drop bit clean and wel equipped for glamping… Bed very comfortable and had a bath with amazing views and bath salts provided by the host, very special. Would recommend.

Judy and Lawrence have created an experience that is made with love and is the ideal location for a getaway to unplug. They will go out of their way to make your stay perfection and are the kindest hosts we’ve ever experienced whilst staying at a hotel/air bnb. The location is picturesque. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed by Judy. Lawrence went and got us marshmallows to have by the fire and turned on the pizza oven for us.
