The Kooralbyn Valley, hotel in Kerry

Located in Kooralbyn in the Queensland Region, 38 km from Mount Tamborine, The Kooralbyn Valley features a year-round outdoor pool and spa centre.

The Kooralbyn is located in a beautiful and tranquil area of Queensland. The staff were friendly, the meals at the local tavern were fresh and reasonably priced, and there was an abundance of local wildlife to watch. The walk between the tavern and the accommodation is lovely. The beds were comfortable, linen clean, and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The airconditioning and heating worked well.

Clouds Safari, hotel in Kerry

Clouds Safari is situated in Beechmont and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. The property is 25 km from Mount Tamborine, and complimentary private parking is available.

Location remote but that’s obvious if booking mountain stay. Host was very friendly and welcoming and had left us down home made pasta. We ate out at the pub that night though so didn’t eat it. Great spot for glamping. Terrible rain when we were there which made moving the car difficult and a very slippery path down to the hut so be prepared for that if the weather is bad. Bathroom out the back is a long drop bit clean and wel equipped for glamping… Bed very comfortable and had a bath with amazing views and bath salts provided by the host, very special. Would recommend.

Verandah House Country Estate, hotel in Kerry

Verandah House Country Estate is located on the top of Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, with amazing views of the Gold Coast and surrounding mountains.

Judy and Lawrence have created an experience that is made with love and is the ideal location for a getaway to unplug. They will go out of their way to make your stay perfection and are the kindest hosts we’ve ever experienced whilst staying at a hotel/air bnb. The location is picturesque. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed by Judy. Lawrence went and got us marshmallows to have by the fire and turned on the pizza oven for us. They’re so kind and make the stay memorable. We will continue to visit on a regular basis and can’t recommend VH enough. Grab your partner and book this today. Honestly you will love the experience.

There's nothing much to do in the surrounding area, but we were happy to stay in and explore the property. We went for a short drive to Darlington until the bitumen ran out, but it only took about 15 mins return. Beaudesert isn't worth visiting really, but that was fine by us.
