I don’t want to say too much about Kiama, then everyone will go there. Such a pretty town, with the best of both coastal and rural views & activities. A big variety of Great restaurants and cafes, with friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating available at nearly all businesses. A huge variety of other stores as well, clothing, toys, books, pharmacies, supermarkets, post office, op shops, specialty boutiques, information bureau - the list is endless. All this, yet the small town feel, remains. 🥰

    Lovely beachside town.

Lovely beachside town. We went there over Easter, and would consider going back again for longer. Went to Jamberoo, and had an awesome time! Kids enjoyed it more than Wet n Wild on the Gold Coast. But that was mainly because it wasn't crowed at Easter, and the queues were much shorter, so kids had a lot more time actually going on the rides, than waiting in queues. Lovely coastline to explore. We also visited the Illawara Fly and did the Zipline tour. What a lot of fun! and beautiful views and forest.

    The hosts were so accommodating.

The hosts were so accommodating. The bed was comfortable, the studio was modern and clean including the bathroom and kitchen. The view from the deck was sensational. Walking distance to Kiama Coastal Walk. Good sized yard. The hosts were contactable and readily available for assistance. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bernie and Joan for all your help! ;)

Kiama had a few beaches to go to.

Kiama had a few beaches to go to. There are a couple of rock pools that seemed very popular with the locals and tourists. The blowhole is always a big draw card to Kiama. The local fish market had school prawns which I haven’t been able to buy for quite awhile. If you like good coffee, you will not be disappointed. The Kiama Leagues Club was just down the road from our accommodation and our meal was very good. There is a very nice coastal walk with excellent views.

Kiama is a beautiful little town.

Kiama is a beautiful little town. The views are the draw card, around the harbour and the blowhole . It’s very walkable but hilly so be prepared. There is a bit of building going on improving facilities in town. A new shopping centre. The Salvos shop is awesome , large, clean and well spaced. The Vinnies shop is also a lovely place to browse. The cafes and restaurants are numerous and staff lively and energetic. Top tip; get off the main drag and see the side streets too, it’s very pretty.

About a 7 min walk to the main street, and about a 5 min walk to one of the beaches. It was across from one but there was a massive car park and footy oval you had to cross to get to the beach. The furniture has since been updated but the photos on booking.com haven't been so it's MUCH nicer then the pictures show. Great appliances top of the range stuff in the house. Pretty happy. Excellent outdoor area also. Abit pricey but worth it for luxury and convenience. Also fantastic aircon that gets the whole house and every room.

Nova Kiama is a new property so lovely and fresh with modern retro style furnishings and great options in room choice including a kitchenette in mine. I liked the room, the easy access car park and coffee combie in the front reception. The young girls on reception were delightful. The location is excellent near train station and main town shops and less than 750m to the beach and blowhole lookout. There is a great Coastal path which I ran and allows you to see a few beaches in a row.

Terrible accomodation - this is at a PUB, which was not advertised when I booked. People I didn’t feel safe around live at this accomodation. Loud at night. Cigarette smoke smell in room and bathrooms. I didn’t actually make it through the night and had to leave… Booked for 1 week and had to leave the first night because I felt so unsafe here and deceived by the booking.com listing. DON’T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU’RE AWARE IT’S ABOVE A LOUD LOCAL PUB WITH METH-HEADS LIVING HERE.

We loved the our stay at Aloha Kiama. It's the perfect location- you are close enough to walk to the beach and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town to relax. Everything you need is within a 3-4 minute drive. It's a beautiful and spacious home- a great blend of luxury and relaxation. We loved how easy it was to communicate with our hosts if anything came up and the small touches like, the welcome booklet, to help make the most of our stay.

We had a studio room with twin beds, it was very large. There was a kitchenette, however the fridge was not good as it was only for drinks. We had to ask for ice packs to be stored in the hotel kitchen, they were not totally frozen the next morning. A proper fridge in the room would be great. Bathroom spacious, quiet room overlooking the side street. Good to have an 11am check out. Good night sleep, convenient to cafe's and the heart of Kiama.

Looks to have been beautifully renovated recently, with very nice decor. All the mod cons you ever need, great shower and super comfy beds! Absolutely quiet accommodation, despite being on the main street opposite Woolworths. Only a block from the heart of Kiama, so once we parked up there was no need to move the car to get to the town centre. Also provided books and games for the family to enjoy.

The location, in walking distance to local cafe and tourist attractions, the market along the water’s edge on Sunday morning were fantastic. The cabin was clean and presented nicely, The outdoor barbecue facilities were fantastic, The cabins were situated in a nice quiet location considering the blowhole tourist spot is so close by with lots of traffic, which wasn’t a noise problem.

The apartment is centrally located, close to shops and restaurants, and to the Kiama Blowhole and the train station. It has a well equipped kitchen and is fairly spacious. The bedrooms are a bit small but okay for a couple of nights stay. It provides off street parking too. The building is a bit old and dated but the apartment itself was clean.

Kiama is a nice place and the location was very central to the centre of town with the cafes and restaurants. Nice characterful cottage. We were after something with more character than standard hotel/motel and this place delivered. Very clean, everything seemed brand new even tho the house was old. Host was very attentive but not intrusive.
