Killarney is a lovely small town situated in the Scenic Rim region of South East Queensland, between Boonah and Warwick. There are beautiful waterfalls close by with fabulous photo opportunities. For those with 4WD vehicles, the Cambanoora Gorge drive is a nice day out, or a different way to come into or out of Killarney. The Gorge has 14 river crossings over the Condamine River, most very shallow with a rocky base, suitable for 4x4 and some higher clearance SUV vehicles. Queen Mary Falls, Browns Falls and Dagg Falls, along with Teviot Falls are located within a half hour's drive from Killarney. The Hotel public areas are small, but provide cold beverages and meals were available also.

We liked the green open spaces and the community.

We liked the green open spaces and the community. We liked the fresh air , no traffic and few people around. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and we found it. The proximity to a National Park was a bonus.

We had an excellent stay, and could have stayed longer but we had booked ahead and had to move on. The rooms were as shown great mountain views beautiful sunsets very relaxing just what we needed!! The surrounding area was very pretty with the waterfalls flowing and easy to get around. The cafe in town had the best salad and Killarney steak sandwich. We decided to cook our own dinner after all recommendations of the local Killarney butcher and the steak was amazing!! A travelling group we spoke to visiting the park said it was one of the very best they had stayed at. We agree!! Browyn was a wealth of local knowledge and gave us direction to see the best of Killarney.

Loved the little town but would have been a little better if more shops were open as we enjoy exploring and talking with the locals.. Happy with access to the Falls, Taneymorel and Stanthorpe. Enjoyed all of them. Lovely to have a short drive and see so much wildlife and birds.

Spring Creek is not in Killarney but on the road past Queen Mary Falls so we didn't spend time in the township. The accommodation is adjacent to Carr's Lookout which has stunning views across valley and mountains. Sitting on the verandah of the cottage it is wonderful to be visited by all the birds.
