Room Motels Kingaroy, hotel in Kingaroy

Just 130 metres from Kingaroy Shoppingworld, Room Motels Kingaroy offers functional modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat screen satellite TV and a microwave. Free secure parking is available on site.

The staff were super helpful and understanding of our changing arrival time (driving). They have great disability facilities including a shower bench. A wheelchair would have a hard time navigating the size of the room without some shimmying, but my walker did fine. Really nice appartments and comfortable beds.

The breakfast was adequate. I would have liked some fresh fruit and some yogurt- but that’s just my preference. The views from The Church were spectacular.

The bed was amazingly comfortable and large- after days of car travel with a bad back and hip and a few bad nights sleep because of them , this bed was amazing and I slept perfectly - think it was better than my bed at home Bonus was kitchenette with microwave and a decent fridge

Kingaroy is very friendly and compact. Everything is available at a short distance. You need a car really, but once you park in town, you could probably walk everywhere. Craft options at a couple of shops there are fantastic.

A visit to the Visitor Information Centre is a must. The volunteers are quite knowledgeable and friendly and provided valuable information. The adjoining Kingaroy Museum and Art Gallery are of a high standard and well worth exploring. Enjoyed a relaxed luncheon at one of the South Burnett wineries.

We visited Kingaroy for the 2nd Bacon Festival. We had a great time at the festival that was well organised and interesting. We also had a drive around the town and went to the Commercial Hotel and the RSL and both were excellent. Great country hospitality everywhere.

What a find. We stayed in the old converted church which was a delight. The Property was clean and tidy and there were no issues. The views from the property were of the Booie Range and were fantastic. Even when the fog arrived in the morning it provided some "atmosphere" for breakfast. Our host was obliging, helpful and informative. A great place to stay for a night or longer (if you want to chill out)! Kingaroy is only a short drive away.

In the July school holidays, we pre-booked at Motel Oasis for an overnight stay, driving from Toowoomba. The hotel signage was easily visible in the night as we arrived around 7.00PM. Reception was closed but with a quick buzz on the intercom, Ruby came over from the busy adjacent restaurant to hand over the keys. Designated car parking was available onsite. There was enough storage space with a pair of large comfortable lounge chairs.

It was a well set up attractive cabin with a deck overlooking bush at the top of the ridgeline. It has a reverse cycle air conditioner which we used to take the chill off the air and good lighting. Hosts supplied bedclothes as asked for. Dinner at the Commercial hotel in Kingaroy (about a 10 min drive) was the best steaks we'd eaten in a long while. The dawn chorus was beautiful.

Staff members speak to you like dirt. They get a booking wrong then tell you you can’t stay at there hotel after you have paid for it. Discussing service, management horrible and rude . In future when they are wrong, they should double check everything before making decisions. Never been treated so bad by a hotel. We had no where to stay because of it.

I liked everything. The guy at reception when I arrived was very friendly and helpful. My room allocation was well thought thru. Motel Holliday is undergoing a refurb, but judging by my room you wouldn't realise as it was well presented. I appreciated the recommendation to have dinner at the Kingaroy RSL too. From the moment you walk into the room you can smell and see the cleanliness, immaculate for an older style Motel. We always stay here when in Kingaroy. Also like the car parked outside your door and undercover.walking distance to the RSL which has great meals, and the IGA is also close by walking distance.
