Easy access, cost was good price, staff were very helpful. The Bowls Club next door was fabulous - extremely friendly. The staff were very receptive when we had a toilet leak - they fixed it asap. The area is lovely and close access to the beach. It is a lovely little, clean place.

Booked a family room which was meant to have a double and x4 singles, Had x2 doubles with a bunk above one The other x2 rooms were meant to have a double and a single and one room just had a double. So I was short an entire bed and 4 grown men had to share a double bed together. Not what I paid for! Very disappointing

The tent was beautiful. Well equipped kitchenette. Bed was super comfy. The location was great - short walk to a beautiful beach. The staff communicated by text with us promptly and were accomodating to our request for a late checkout. If the weather had been warmer the pool and bbq area would have been great! The cosy dressing gowns provided were a lovely luxury.

Quiet location with swimming pool in the front of the property. BBQ next to the pool. Kitchen has more equipment than I have at home. With everything you want for cooking is provided. With river across the road and ocean beach less than 5 minutes walk away. Shark proof river pool. It has general store, bowling club, boat rump with cleaning station, some jetties to fish from in the river. River front restaurant. City of Taree is 20 minutes away with big city amenities.

There are very few restaurants or entertainment in the local area. it is quite isolated. Recommend to bring your own before coming to Manning Point as there are NO shopping options in the area. However, the beach is awesome, a good place for a short holiday escape. It is also not too far from Foster or Port Macquarie, Laurieton town, national parks where you can find a lot of things to see.

Manning Point was very, very quiet even though it was the school holidays. Area is very tired and there is nothing there but a corner store, beach and lake. It takes 30 minutes to drive from Taree. Checked out Old Bar and would stay there next time.
