Highly recommend. Kieran and Lisa are fabulous hosts. Our accomodation was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious, with a deck and garden view. Breakfasts were amazing; tasty, healthy and prepared by Kieran - cooked to perfection. Lots of unexpected delights, for example homemade cake in the afternoon, fresh milk and chilled water in the fridge in the bedroom, lounge area to sit and enjoy an afternoon tea or pre dinner drink. Lisa was so knowledgable about the local area and offered many suggestions for day trips and lunch venues. A wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

One of my favourite places to visit!
One of my favourite places to visit! I live in the city (Perth) and not nearly enough people are as friendly and conversational as they are in Margaret River. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and you’re surrounded by nature.
You must visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Wow Illusions, and the Margaret River Sweet Shop. And make sure to stop in at Cowaramup on the way through!
Some of the roads are a little iffy, but majority have either been updated or are getting updated as we speak.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore.
Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore. Incredible wineries, breweries and a great distillery to check out. Excellent food options, and unbelievable coastal vistas. Go bush walking, enjoy the beach!
Only downside is things can be a bit pricier than in a big city - ie: groceries, meals out etc. But that's a fairly minor complaint, and something to be expected.

This is a lovely town, but be aware it really exists just because of tourism. The vast majority of shops are there to support that, so gift shops aplenty! It’s worth a visit for an afternoon, or stay there, or locally, as a base, but in itself is rather limited.

This feedback is little delayed, but I wanted to make sure I don't rush it. What can I say? Our stay at Lilly Pilly cottage was absolutely Marvellous!! The cottage is located at the very heart of Margaret river and within reach of wineries, beer farms and restaurants. Looking for the zest that comes with a adrenaline holiday break? Peace tranquillity that comes with it? ( I know it's hard to imagine this can happen at the same time & place) then Lilly Pilly cottage will offer all these plus more!! We will be back!
We absolutely loved our stay. The front desk staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The room itself was inviting, clean and comfortable, with a verandah looking out into the beautiful forest. The proximity to the Margaret River Brewhouse, Bakery and town centre is fantastic as its only a quick walk but you still feel a sense of being privacy and that you're not in the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Complimentary late check out was great. We will definitely stay again.
Kieren spoilt us each day with a beautifully cooked breakfast to start our day of exploring Margaret River. In addition, we had a wide range of breakfast food including yoghurt and fresh fruits, fresh bread, home-made muesli, coffee/tea and fruit juices. Lisa made sure we felt at home at her guest house and had plenty of local knowledge of the best places to visit and eat. Thanks for making our stay so special, Lisa and Kieran!
Location is perfect, we walked everywhere from the house to margaret river town, walked to dinner, shopping, pub all of it... Secured back yard for dogs and close to walk trails, everything you could have needed inside the house and quite secluded being the rear unit. Bedrooms are neat with ceilaing fans and there is an aircon in the main living area. Its is definately a fair price for good accomodation.
The Deco Penthouse exceeded our expectations, especially loved the balcony overlooking the high street in Margaret River. Being able to walk out to restaurants, bars and cafes was fantastic. Also being within a short driving distance to all the wineries was also a bonus. This was our third stay at the Traill (stayed previous two times in the Marina Penthouse), and we would definitely stay again.
The location was perfect and within easy walking distance into town. We liked the convenience of having the Margaret River Brewhouse right next door. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast included was an added bonus. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
We liked the fresh smell on entering, the apartment was all clean and very neat, plus the beds were super comfy! Location was great, right across the road from shops and grocery stores and the cute town of Margaret River. Plenty of space in the lounge room and kitchen area and it was great to have a secure garage to park our car.
Great location, close to supermarkets, main street and is central to all the locations you would want to visit while in Margaret River. Beds are comfortable and house keeping was kind enough to leave us new towels outside our rooms when we had put the do not disturb sign.
-very easy to check-in with electronic lock, just press the code that provided in advance.
-very clean room and comfortable shower room with heat, especially very cold at night.
-perfect location to find restaurants nearby Margaret River brewhouse and bakery.
Private cottage. Nicely appointed.
Comfy beds/bedding and mattress.
Quiet. 20 minutes to Margaret River.
Good location for wine tasting.
Bottle of champagne in the frig acknowledging our wedding anniversary.
The location was fabulous. Only a couple of minutes from Margaret River town. The house was nestled in nature which was peaceful and beautiful.
It had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy!
We really liked the location. I t was exceptional. We really liked the house and how it was lay out. And the surrounding was so silent it was like we were in a dream land
the location was excellent. On the corner of the main street of Margaret River. Close to shops and Taverns. The room was fine - quiet and the bed was comfortable.
Very cosy, and clean. Super comfortable! Great attention to detail. Beautiful garden. Excellent location for walking to restaurants and stores in Margaret River.
The location was beautiful. The chalets were in such a lovely setting surrounded by trees & natural bushland, but still only a few minutes out of Margaret River.
Very big house, close to the Margret River area. The house has lots of space for a family, good kitchen facilities. The host responds to questions very quickly.
