I enjoyed how remote the Lodge is, and the wildlife on the doorstep. I saw a wallaby four the first time! The 'off grid' experience was wonderful - electricity and hot running water, but no internet, no phone reception (telstra/optus), and no TV. My partner wasn't much of a fan of this, but to each their own. Be prepared for wildlife - we were woken by a currawong chasing bees on the tin roof, I was delighted, my partner wasn't, ha ha.

we absolutely loved this little getaway- felt like we we explorers the facilities of course is very basic- beds were comfortable and we even started the fire at night . the only thing was that we locked the keys in the hut and literally had to break in- the phone numbers for emergency did not work and that sucked!! we had to damage the hut as it was dusk and I did not want to sleep outside - a Mumma and her 2 boys.
