We liked a lot of things: we got privacy, the view was beautiful, the owners were very nice. I also liked the design of our room.
Nestled on Tamborine Mountain and situated opposite Witches Falls, this private adults-only retreat offers fully self-contained and individually themed cottages with 2-person spa baths, log fireplaces...

Property is well maintained. It is beautiful around the property. The cottage was very tidy and clean. The breakfast provided was delicious as well as the fresh made loaf of bread. Thank you for everything, my husband and I came to celebrate our 10th year anniversary, and had a lovely time.

This property is amazing we loved everything about our stay here. The luxurious rooms, stunning views over the valley, the barn, the hot tub, our daily breakfast and the friendly owners and hosts made our wedding anniversary stay so special. We will definitely go back some day.

Met friends for lunch at St Bernards Hotel - No Aircon where we were seated but the view was great. Had not been for about 20 years, so great to see the St Bernards were still an icon here.
Dining was a pleasure - great menu and we all found a favourite dish to try. Tried a local Rose and thoroughly enjoyed.
Fox and Hound is a great pub for an authentic English and Irish Menu, don't forget the Guinness.
Plenty to see and do, take a couple of days to explore the area.

The boutique shopping was great!
The boutique shopping was great! People were very friendly and the food was lovely! We had a coffee and a pastry from one of the boutique bakery/cafes and it was really tasty. We had a counter meal at the North tamborine bowls club and the staff there were very friendly. The experience of exploring the area was well worth the trip....

Mt Tamborine is a wonderful destination.
Mt Tamborine is a wonderful destination. The walks and the views are amazing. The area is brimming with wildlife and beautiful nature walks; there is a zipline through the treetops! There was even a peacock that seems to have made the garden at the Mount Tamborine Motel its home.
The meals and service at St Bernard's Restaurant were very good and breakfast at Coffee Plantation was excellent.
It's a wonderful destination for a romantic weekend or a leisurely holiday.

Lovely place to visit with some spectacular walks and scenery.
We were there for 3 nights and 4 days and felt that was enough.
A must do is watch the sunset from the hang glider launch / lookout, its stunning.
The gallery walk is a bit of fun with lots of quirky shops and some nice places to eat, not many galleries though.
Leaf Japanese restaurant is nice for dinner, its small so you might need to book, also lunch at the Cedar Creek Winery and Masons Winery are great with beautiful views. Fun day is at the Cauldron Distillery on the lawns with a gin or two, and the Witches Chase Cheese Shop and Fortitude Brewery was nice for a cheese plate with some great live music. Don't forget the Promenade Near Curtis Falls walk for lunch breakfast or an afternoon drink - its like walking into a little slice of Italy. Picnic is great for morning tea, and we intended to get back to try Wolf but didn't get there, it looked really nice with a creative menu.
Some great walking tracks around the place, and the Botanic gardens are beautiful, glow worm cave and skywalk are also great to visit especially if you have kids.

A delightful area with many bush walks and waterfall walks.
A delightful area with many bush walks and waterfall walks. Spice of Life cafe, the Local Codfather, Birchgrove Nursery & Coffee shop, Canungra Hotel, St Bernard’s Hotel. It’s easy to find your way driving around Tamborine and walking.
They have a number of good markets in the area. There are a few shops in Southport Street to visit as well.
The weather is quite temperate so it’s very pleasant.

The town was small but active.
The town was small but active. Great food to be found and some really good walking tracks. Really worth the look. carparks are hidden got to look for the signs. Botanical gardens where ok good spot for a picnic.
The glow worms where very interesting if not a short experience. the waterfall walks where good and easy to access from anywhere you stay in town, but they need some rain to make them spectacular.

The staff and facilities were excellent considering a tornado had ripped apart Mount Tamborine in the previous week and the whole area was a disaster. One cabin still had a large tree on top of it and many others trees had fallen. To have the retreat operating the way it was is a fantastic effort by all involved. We didn't cancel as many had as we wanted to support the people and business. The room and facilities were excellent and the rain forrest amazing in spite of all the problems. We really enjoyed our stay.
Amazing location and an enormous, gorgeous house that could fit our whole family. We were worried with so many family members that the bathroom/toilets may have been an issue, but there were plenty of facilities to cope with us all!! The house was airconditioned, but also had a terrific fireplace, lounge area and dining area to sit around and chatter. Lots of scenic places to visit or just lounge around in the home.
This is our third stay in the motel. We like the location next to St Bernards for their Christmas in July dinners and also the closeness to the golf course. The view of the gardens and valley is beautiful and can be enjoyed from the privacy of your own room. Room was clean, bed comfortable and they provide tea and coffee making facilities plus bowls, plates, cutlery and a toaster for self catered breakfasts.
Beautiful place, good for young kids to run around in. Emma was also a great host ensuring we were safe and comfortable and provided personalised service. Place was very clean and I loved the personal touch with the hand picked flowers in both cabins. Weather was colder than I liked but heating was very good so I managed to stay warm, even through the night :)
Beautiful property in a great location, close to all the local attractions of Mount Tamborine and the Gold Coast. Lovely staff, beautiful birdlife, and comfortable accommodation.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. We would love to return, and we recommend the cottages to families, couples, and friend groups alike.
I loved the hotel, the grounds, parking was easy, Gary and Natalie were absolutely lovely! Loved how green everything was, made me feel so warm and happy. I loved the tables outside the bedrooms, I loved that is was very close to everything and I loved that they had little tiny jars of bath salts for a bath.
What an absolutely amazing place to stay.
The views are breathtaking and the cabins are well equipped with everything you need.
Jacqui and Simon and the most wonderful hosts and the cooked breakfast is fantastic.
Would highly recommend.
We will definitely be coming back to stay again.
Very peaceful and picturesque setting. The cabin is private and cozy. Good basic facilities, with a very comfortable bed, big spa bath and nice fireplace. The host was very attentive and delivered firewood to our door on a raining cold night. Great for romantic couples getaways.
Very clean and well presented little cottage, and just a short walk from the main street, but in a nice quiet location. The wood fire was a nice touch also, with well stocked seasoned firewood on hand. I would definitely stay again if visiting Mount Tamborine in the future.
It is a great little unit, everything you need is there. Well equipped kitchen and great size fridge. Beds are comfortable. Location is great not far from Saint Bernard's Hotel and not too far from main center of town. Great country view at the back of propert
The room is clean and the decorations are beautiful. I could see the different kinds of birds at the balcony. The breakfast is as good as those I had eaten in hotel. Jill and Mel are friendly and generous. They gave us freshly picked avocado before check out.
Great location.
Room was small but functional for 4.
Lots of toiletries.
Nice garden going down to the river. With kangaroos each evening.
Walking paths in the forest opposite the Motel. and along to the center.
Lots of toiletries.
Tables to sit outside.
The accommodation was really clean and well equipped in a beautiful setting. Everything we needed was there and the pool was a brilliant bonus.
Dallas and Pam were very helpful and friendly.
Highly recommended for a stay on Mount Tamborine.
The villa was very homely and comfortable. We felt instantly at home. It was beautifully decorated and warm. We were provided with a selection of luxury tea and coffee, plus juice, milk and a fresh loaf of bread.
We stayed in the Kookaburra Cottage and it was so cosy. Snuggling up in front of the wood fireplace with the reverse cycle AC as a back-up. Walking distance to restaurants. Had a great couple of days.
