Nice town. Public areas are well kept and appealing.
Nice town. Public areas are well kept and appealing. The wild bird life are prolific and friendly. Lots of brick buildings, flowers beds and bakeries. Local restaurants and takeaway are good quality and value.

Smallish country town with good facilities and shops that you would expect in a town this size. My wife loved the ladies dress shop, and there were several places to choose from for eating. Neat and tidy place. We did a day trip north and found a great bakery at Goomeri with French style pastries. Yum.

Absolutely nowhere to have a decent meal on a Saturday , Sunday or Monday nights in the town . I would never book to stay in the town again on those nights unless there was somewhere open for a proper meal

No pubs open for meals on Monday night. There were a handful of takeaway places.Plenty of people stayed at the Showgrounds in their campers. The flowerbeds around the town were lovingly tended to. A clean, and tidy town.

Lovely small country town with friendly country people.
Lovely small country town with friendly country people. Highly recommend the Fitzroy motel for your accommodation beautiful friendly staff. Located close to all amenities a lot of restaurants to choose from for males Or coffee.
