We enjoyed the area. Nice waterfront with bike tracks and more aesthetically pleasing town compared to other outer Darwin areas. We loved the beachfront pub for food and drink. It had Carlton dry on Tap and made amazing cocktails, plus the food was reasonable and delicious. Definitely go for off shore boats fishing charter, I highly recommend. We went to crocodylus park, which we enjoyed but it would be expensive if you had a large family group.
