The service, treated like royalty. Food & wine was also very good.

Some very strange noises coming from inside of the wall, street side.
couldn't decide what it was until i had a look and saw the gas pipes on the wall outside.
funny the sorts of noises you get when expansion and contraction due to the heat of the sun.

Beautiful buildings and surrounding gardens. Rooms were beautifully decorated and I keeping with the aesthetic of the buildings. Nice location - but down a long dirt road. So would not be ideal for little hire car.

Cottage very quaint but really only for two people. Lovely setting.
Accomodation was very well presented. It was clean and comfortable with all bathroom and kitchen amenities (including food to cook your own breakfast) was provided.
There were a few spiders etc due to the dry natural surroundings in summer but nothing that bothered us.

We liked the view and the cleanliness of the rooms.
We liked the view and the cleanliness of the rooms. The food is the restaurant was tasy and reasonably priced. We "hated" the height of the steps on the staircases - far too high for people with knee problems.

after pondering over where to stay we decided to stay here again. the rooms have been updated and are so beautiful and clean. the staff were lovely. The Restaurant staff so welcoming and the food and wine were lovely at reasonable prices as well. We were really relaxed and loved the sunrise over the hills. It is a lovely resort and we cant wait to return.
The rooms are a great size, with a good indoor sitting area and each room had a deck with a table and chairs.
The bathrooms were a good size and well laid out.
The reception staff were very accomodating. They made extra efforts to look after our elderly grandparents who were also staying at the hotel. They provided door-to-door golf cart service so they could easily attend the restaurant.
Cost overpriced considering the room and services. Forgot toothpaste and needed to pay for some if I wanted it from the hotel. When paying that much a night, I would expect this to be complimentary.
Cocktails were ordered and canceled within a couple of minutes, yet we were still charged for them when we never received the drinks.
It was our wedding anniversary and we’ve been surprised by a warm welcome at reception, also with a nice note from the hotel and a rocky road with happy anniversary message in the fridge 😍. Staff were also very nice, polite and supportive and hotel was very clean.
I was in the Barossa Valley to do wine tastings and this was a great location to do that. It has it's own winery on site, a lovely dining room, a pool and lots of room for exploring.
The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, and the wildlife and view are really lovely. The staff were very friendly, and the day spa is definitely worth a visit
