Nice location, it had 2 x lifts for us with mobility issues, close to everything. Good size room. staff were pleasant. We booked two rooms but were not near each other, 1 was down a hall way. Lucky my daughter (18YO) felt safe to stay by herself. (we booked 3 weeks earlier for 2 rooms). Easy parking, easy after hours access.
Easy to access the restaurant. Service in restaurant was a little slow, we had to ask for drinks a few times before food arrived, but the food was good and worth the wait.

I absolutely loved my stay. I stopped there overnight for work and could not fault it. Craig was friendly and helpful, the room was fitted out beautifully and the bed was super comfy. I was tired from driving so was delighted to be able to order dinner from the local pub and have it delivered to my room. Breakfast was delicious and delivered through the little hatch which brought back memories of staying in motels when I was young! I could not recommend the Aspen and Apartments more highly.

The breakfast was excellent and cooked to your requirements in a lovely setting. There was a spare fridge where you could store your food and you were welcome to eat in the kitchen if required.
Sale is a lovely Country Town, plenty to see and do.

We found the people of Sale a little strange? Not many say hello and im big on that. The Irish pub had good dinners but all male waiters which we found unusual. The sporting Legends was really good and is much more up market. The Rose fish n chip shop was excellent. Beer was good and cold everywhere.

We enjoyed our visit here- were lucky enough to see the swinging bridge in action, wandered around the Botanic gardens and the Port of Sale. The art gallery had some interesting displays and the information office was helpful. Enjoyed a nice meal at the historic Criterion Hotel. If we had longer we could have done a day trip to Yarram to see the murals.

Sale has a small river port at southern end of town centre where there is also, what appears to be, a new theatre. Plenty of varieties of eateries and some good pubs. A bustling country town which is alive. Has a botanical gardens and most things are within walking distance.

Love the city of Sale, not a lot to do but still a lovely place to visit and relax. Some cute bakeries and local cafes/businesses. Great for a weekend trip or a mid week trip, probably more so without kids.
We had dinner at Sporting Legends, surprisingly not super busy for a Saturday night. The the Central Bakery was absolutely delicious for our lunches on both Saturday and Sunday.
Most businesses are open both days of the weekend as well, so you have some variety on food and shopping, plus there is also Aldi, Woolworths and Coles for shopping as well.
Really such a relaxing and inviting place.
This is a fairly new, comfortable hotel-style studio room with a nice bathroom. It's in a great location - 2 or 3 blocks from the centre of town and half a block from the Port of Sale, Regional Art Gallery, etc. The area had an unseasonable cold snap while we were there but the apartment was warm and cosy. The sauce bottles that contained the body wash, shampoo and conditioner worked really well - much better than the usual wall-mounted dispensers. On the whole, it was pretty good.
The accommodation in 'The Stables' was located on a 2 acre historic property where you could wander and enjoy the heritage gardens and ambiance of the 1860's. Our accommodation was very comfortable, the furnishings a mixture of modern comforts and quality antique furniture. A delightful place to visit.
good old hospitality arrived 1hr before check in & was not a problem with getting into room customer service is 10 out of 10 just so welcoming made you feel like so at home & the room was spotless beds were so comfy would highly recommend if your staying at sale or traveling through
Everything was great. Only thing - no door separating the main bedroom with the living room. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. I left my phone charger in the room, and the reception lady followed through and found it for me. Excellent service. Thanks.
Highly recommend dinner at the hotel. We had the chicken parma which was awesome and the kids meals were also really good. Service was wonderful at dinner and in the hotel on arrival. Fantastic stopover on our way to Melbourne, would definitely return.
The room was very nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. I had dinner in the front restaurant and really enjoyed the food. This was a great option for me as I was working in Sale and needed a comfortable, well-priced hotel for one night.
great price for the two nights , the shower was excellent plenty of pressure and a large shower area, beds were firm and clean and enough facilities to make a coffee , toast and keep your drinks cold, there was also a bbq area and a pool.
Amazing property steeped in history and preserved and maintained to an exceptionally high standard
Narelle the hostess / manager was friendly, informative and professional
Silver service breakfast in a grand dining room. Wow !!!
Mansi is highly reliable. I have stayed often. Always clean and welcoming. The design is better than most short stay motels and aesthetically pleasing. the romm is comfortable and bathroom highly functional.
Tim was fantastic in getting me into "The Stables" and I was very pleasantly surprised by his service and the room. This is probably the nicest accommodation I've stayed in for years. Fullstop. Terry
Owners were very accommodating we called ahead to make sure our booking had gone through and she held a room for us and organized a key outside of office hours. Room was huge and very comfortable.
Big shout out to the lady at reception on Friday night, couple of minor issues with the room, and once mentioned she went out of her way to rectify immediately.
Wonderful customer service.
