The Manna, Ascend Hotel Collection, hotel in Stirling

The Manna of Hahndorf offers spacious modern rooms in the old German settlement of Hahndorf, just 30 minutes’ drive from Adelaide. All rooms are air conditioned and WiFi internet access is available.

Great location to experience Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills. Spa rooms had their own parking area which was a great benefit as parking is difficult in Hahndorf. Overall enjoyed the stay.

    Love this hotel.

Love this hotel. Our second stay here and we will definitely be back. Love the communal kitchen for morning coffee and a light breakfast and a pot of tea at night. Such a great idea and very relaxing not having to go out for breakfast. I love the stylish rooms. The 3 suites are very spacious and even the smaller rooms are luxurious and provide plenty of room with large bathrooms. Dining and bar areas are all great and the fireplaces create a lively ambiance. Food is excellent and the staff are all very friendly.

Stirling is a beautiful hills village, only a short distance...

Stirling is a beautiful hills village, only a short distance from the centre of Adelaide. Stunning houses and gardens. It is a relaxing place to stay with plenty of birds and often native wildlife in sight (koalas and kangaroos). There are many beautiful nature walks and hikes in the local area. Several cafes and places to eat. I would recommend the Stirling Hotel for food and drinks list, The Patch restaurant for high quality food and wine, Barrel Wine Bar for excellent atmosphere and wine list and Les Dues Coqs for French pastries. In the adjacent village (also in walking distance, albeit slightly further) there is an excellent and very trendy cafe called Fred's. There's also a beautiful pilates studio, an amazing butcher and some lovely gift shops. There's also Dirty Doris Diner (great tasty food and coffee), Spaghetti Head (freshly made pasta), Yuki in the Hills for Japanese cuisine and the classic old style Aldgate Pump Hotel for pub grub. A bit further along (but still only a 10 min drive at max) is the lovely Bridgewater Inn and Bridgewater Mill which have amazing outdoor dining areas and the park in the same area is great for children.

I loved the location, beautiful hills so close to Adelaide City! Lovely village with great restaurants and small specialty shops. Close proximity to the wineries. The Japanese restaurant in Stirling was magnificent, along with The Loca-vore nearby. Would highly recommend a visit!

We loved our stay in our balcony apartment. Everything was so clean and comfortable and the provisions left for breakfast were impressive. The location was great for exploring Adelaide Hills and we left feeling relaxed and recharged. We have already recommended this place to friends and would love to come back again for another visit.
