Beautiful gardens, staff very welcoming and friendly. There was a market on & wedding and we barely noticed as we were allocated a room away from them. Such a gorgeous relaxing place to stay.

It’s located in a quiet area, our stay was lovely and quiet! The cottage is perfectly appointed, and so clean! All the small towns/tourist destinations are close to drive to.
Staff were amazing; friendly & professional. Gardens & house is also amazing. Room servicing could have been better.
We are in the restaurant, ordered drinks & snacks in the ‘Nook’ bar & were able to choose between various sites to sit & enjoy them, often in front of a roaring wood fire.

The Southern Highlands provided some excellent walks and waterfall views but the townships were disappointing. Berrima used to be interesting but is now touristy and ordinary. Many shops were closed in the townships. Traffic through the region is pretty bad.

Beautiful grounds and we enjoyed the old world charm with modern facilities. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Staying in Sutton Forest provided east access to a number of other tourist spots. In particular, The Red Cow Farm was a delightful find.

Loved the relaxed and spacious feel that Sutton’s Forest has. Not much there but the 2 best things made all the difference - a brilliant pub with nice food, outdoor space & brilliant views & the best cafe for coffee & gorgeous pastries. Not crowded so if your needing time away from crowds & city life to relax & be in nature, it’s the best choice you can make. It rained for us so didn’t get to experience the wineries but will return for sure !

Great location and so serene.
Great location and so serene. Only a short 10 minute drive into mossvale. Lovely charming old manor house with wonderful helpful staff. The menu could have had a few more options, but generally value for money, a great location and good services .

Hostess Maria greeted us with friendliness and welcoming information. the main room extra roomy + kitchen and combined laundry extra huge + separate shower and toilet fantastic. Everything we could possibly need was provided plus some. Only very small request would be if white or wholemeal bread be provided, but not worth mentioning seeing we had our own white bread.
Hillview consists of gorgeous self-contained heritage cottages - ours even had its own enclosed outdoor section for the dogs - and is spectacularly set, with fantastic views. The buildings themselves are housed within a sculpture garden. Spacious and comfortable, the rooms are a delight, and the included breakfast worth getting up early to saviour - make sure you leave time to spend wandering around the property.
This is our 4th stay at the Hillview Heritage Hotel. It is a charming property, steeped in history. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Great distance within a short drive to Moss Vale and Bowral. If you are looking for something unique in the Southern Highlands than this is the place for you. An added bonus....pet friendly!! Our dogs love roaming the huge grounds.
So much character in the property, it has a vast heritage and it was lovely to soak it all in. The gardens were spectacular with the colours of Autumn starting to show. The breakfast was delicious and I loved spending some quiet time in the morning sitting with a yummy breaky and viewing the southern highlands out the gorgeous heritage windows in the dining room.
What an amazing place, set on a huge beautiful property with incredible views of Sutton Forest and the surrounding southern highlands. The cottage was littered with art and books and best of all the entire property was dotted with sculptures from various artists.
Loved the vibe and strolling the grounds taking in the creative visions, big and small.
The property was in a great location. We were attending a wedding at nearby Montrose House- only a 2min drive down the road! The property was clean and the hosts were lovely and welcoming. Sutton Forest Inn was only 50m up the road- a great place for dinner. The beds were comfortable and we were very warm during what was a chilly and rainy weekend.
Lovely, historic rural setting! Complete w resident ducks. ☺️ 🦆 🥰 The food @ the cafe is delicious, & the venue is very close 2 Moss Vale, Bowral & Berrima. Wld also recommend dinner @ the Sutton Forest Inn (off the Illawarra Highway-just south off the Hume Hwy). 👏🤩
The manson is located at Sutton Forest which is a bit on the landside. We immediately calmed down while approaching it. The staff was very nice and the food really good. Wifi was also quite fast and a lot of rabbits are hanging around :-)
Easy access to the property, just off the Hume, and then close to Sutton Forest and the towns of the highlands. Quiet location in a rural setting. The room was cute and cosy, and the bed, comfortable. Cafe and cellar door right there!
The photos really don’t do this place justice. The cottage was so much larger than I expected. The outlook was amazing - sunrise stunning - like a stage just for me! Heating was great - super cosy. Beautiful grounds, a real find.
The cafe has fabulous cakes....some healthy and some exotic. Nice vibe, and locals come from all over to eat there.
The hotel management are very kind and fair when helping to settle an unexpected issue. Thank you.
Toscana on Greenhills certainly lives up to it's name, it is just stunning & so peaceful. The cottage is very quaint & cosy & our host Judy ensured we had everything we needed.
The breakfast selection was good, except the only tea provided was green tea.
The bed was comfortable and there was a good amount of space in the cottage.
