I had the pleasure of staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney recently and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, I was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the smiling and friendly staff. My husband and I were in Sydney for a business trip and we were thrilled to be provided with an upgraded room on the 35th floor with a spectacular sea view. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel. The attention to detail from the hotel staff was outstanding, with everything from room service to housekeeping being executed flawlessly. Overall, The exceptional service, stunning views, and comfortable accommodations make it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. We will definitely be returning for our next trip to Sydney.

Pictures are misleading =)... but it's ok.The 3 of us fits ourselves in anyway.Bedsheets are neat and comfy,location is great it's just in the heart if the city. Very convenient to walk around. Hotel stay was to attend a nearby show with friends, so the location in the inner city was extremely handy with access to valet style parking under the hotel at very reasonable rates. We werev able to walk around in the early morning via Barangaroo and under the iconic harbour bridge to Circular Quay for breakfast watching the ferries arrive and depart and a visiting cruise ship load up the next round of passengers. Lovely views of the harbour on a clear sunny day was a bonus. Visited the NSW Art Gallery after leaving the hotel and explored the new additional space opened recently - well worth while.

I did not expect to be a minority in Burwood. I did not feel comfortable walking the streets. I should have stayed somewhere else and relied on public transport, The public transport system is easy to use and frequent. The theatre life in Sydney is great and the Botanical Gardens was a drawcard for me.

I would recommend taking as many ferry rides as possible as it is a great way to see Sydney from all different perspectives. The Botanical Gardens are an exceptional way to spend a day especially if it is a hot day and shade is important.The Arts Gallery of New South Wales is right beside the Botanical Gardens an is fantastic

Very nice and bright in the main reception, bar, restaurant and public areas. Plenty of seating areas and children were catered for too. The food and drinks we had were very good and not excessively expensive as is usually the case in hotels. It was also very convenient for going into the city for sightseeing and shopping. It was also handy for the nightlife. The Star casino was in walking distance. Our room was a good size and comfortable with a seating area and good views over the harbour. The housekeeping was very good.

Location right near domestic airport is reason we use it. Have done so several times & will do so again. It has a fast & reliable airport SHUTTLE, the reason why I selected this hotel originally. Having a good shuttle is my number one NEED, especially in these times of RAIL STRIKES & Taxis getting harder to locate at Central & UBERS even harder to contact .

It is obvious that an effort has been made to renovate and improve, with new carpet, big TVs etc... I particularly appreciate the linen on the bed. I also loved the fact I was given some vouchers to get my breakfast from the café next door, which is very good. The location of the hotel is also great, very near to Town Hall for transport, Darling Harbour and the CBD.

Breakfast dining area surroundings were so special being situated in a converted heritage post office building. Was very convenient to get to the theatre shows we were watching that day and night and close to public transport.

Perfect base location to access the CBD, Harbour, transport to Bondi etc. The room was comfortable and the staff very nice and accommodating. I think the hotel looks better inside than it does from outside, but that's not to say it looks bad from the outside. Will happily stay here again.
