The place was clean and the staff very helpful. The outdoor pool and spa was nice and would be enjoyable on hot days but not during cold weather.

Torquay is a delightful holiday destination with a great surfing beach, vibrant shopping centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We found the Torquay Hotel a particularly nice venue to eat as a family.

I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating. The people are friendly and there some great places to run along the coastline as well as restaurants to dine out at. I shopped for local products which I enjoyed and picked up some nice little gifts. The holiday enabled my two dogs to travel with me and my friend so that our family had a nice break. It made my winter seem a little more cheerful as I don't enjoy the cold but managed to paddle in the ocean with Peppy and Tom. Thank you for the opportunity to get away.

Squires Loft is a great restaurant especially if you like steak.
Point Impossible is the most beautiful beach in Torquay. It is clothing optional so there are not a lot of kids and the beach is pretty quiet although there are a few male perverts that are creepy.
We went to 2 coffee shops that weren't great. I will take my own coffee machine next time.
One of the fish & chip shops near woolies was closed on Wednesday night which I found strange. Another one in Bell St was open but the chips weren't good. It is a guessing game to figure out which take away shops are open, their website will say the shop is open when it isn't.
The bars close early and you will struggle to find an open bar after 9.30pm.
It can be hard to find parking at peak times.

Torquay is a great destination and in my opinion one of the nicest towns along the surf coast. The town centre is pleasant to walk around, and the vibe is great - plenty of choice for foodies with a plethora of fantastic restaurants.
I was here for 3 days on business but made sure I fitted in some leisure time and can't wait to return.
We arrived in pouring rain after a very long flight and our luggage had not arrived. We were extremely early for check in but this was not a problem at all, we were given an available room for no extra charge. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we felt as comfortable as possible. He also gave us excellent tips for quick trips along the Great Ocean Road. we booked Torquay Motel because of the wonderful reviews and I can agree with them all. What a great start to our holiday, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
The staff went over and above and were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a mixup when I arrived so I was upgraded and stayed in a beautiful suite. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and Mark, who works at the golf course, took me on a tour in the morning to see kangaroos!
The pillows was so comfortable which is quite rare in hotels these days!
That is a stunning walk to do along the beach. The salty sea dog is a Fantastic Café full of happy dogs and it absolutely made my morning .
Perfect location right next to the beach, we had one of the surfside cabins so it was a 20 second walk away from the surf beach, good value for money, also close to the pub and some other nice cafes and restaurants. Most other shops in Torquay are within walking distance or a short drive from the caravan park. Cabins are small but clean and have pretty much everything you need. Couch was comfy. Overall a great option for family holidays, but also for groups of friends
John, the manager was amazing. he called me and ran through everything prior to my stay and addressed some issues I found reading existing reviews. however he definitely explained to me that this is NOT a Hilton hotel and it is mainly for large groups and might be a little banged up. But to be fair, for a large family all we needed was a clean common area, beds and a fully functioning kitchen. and it provided all of that for our stay!
This stay was the first holiday with our 4 legged family member and it couldn't have gone better given the proximity of local dog friendly beaches (Addiscott and Southside) and the local attractions in Torquay. The cottage was comfortable and the hosts most accommodating to our particular needs. We will return.
Beautiful hotel, exceptionally clean and staffed by some genuinely nice people who appeared to enjoy their roles and interactions with guests. Excellent location, easy car parking and multiple options to charge electric vehicles is a big plus.
Perfect location in quiet suburban street. Easy walking distance to beautiful beach in the morning (Jan Juc I think). Easy drive to town for heaps of choices for dinner. Great layout that suited our grown up family of 5 perfectly.
It’s a new built, so everything is new and we enjoyed our time there. My nephew and niece enjoyed the house a lot and they were exceptionally happy with the toys.
The host is friendly and nice and the kitchen is very equipped.
A beutifully maintained cottage in a stunning rural setting, close to Torquay and Bell's Beach. Good heating and cooling, including a wood fire. Comfortable beds, pwell-appointed lounge and great kitchen/dining room.
Calina was so lovely, i was a little early and they had everything ready.
The place was cleaner then my house. Everything was perfect!
Easy too find and perfect parking.
Excellent location, walking distance to beautiful front beach and all amenities that Torquay offers, we had a wonderful holiday, would recommend this fabulous beach house.
Staff friendly, but not super efficient. Room very clean. Parking free and easy. Big tv if that’s of interest and free bottled water is always great in any hotel.
