Lovely cozy tiny home far away from the busy life. We really enjoyed our stay there! The sky was just amazing, sitting by the fire was a dream. Wildlife is all around, we loved every minute. The sunrise was wonderful and we saw kangoroos on the hill nearby. Thank you Shaz, keep up the good work!

We were in the area for a wedding the town is small but well serviced with a super armed (woolies) fuel, pub, cafe, restaurants and a bakery. Nightlife is a little lacking with most places closed by 8pm. It’s a short drive to Port Albert with plenty other places of interest within easy driving distance. We didn’t need Taxis or Uber so I can’t comment on their availability. Roads are well maintained but watch out for wildlife particularly at dawn and dusk because there’s plenty around. A bus service between Yarram and Traralgon that appears to run quite regularly.

Yarram is a lovely country town with lots to enjoy or simply relax and kick back. It has a variety of shops and restaurants/cafes with all the essentials for a short visit or a longer stay. The locals are friendly and take pride in their township.

Friendly neat and clean town that welcomes visitors.

Friendly neat and clean town that welcomes visitors. A quiet relaxing time. We visited all of the wall art which was interesting - they even had explanations via mobile phone of each painting. We ate at the Yarram Club - friendly, clean, porkies but I would not eat there again. Overall we were happy visiting Yarram.

Yarram has good eateries, a couple of decent chippies, a great Chinese restaurant, a good pub and a cafe with period features. There's a range of shops to browse through, plenty of car parking and pedestrians well catered for. There are several value-for-money accommodation options. The mural art around the town is pretty special and worth a look on its own. There's plenty of things to see within easy reach, and land-based flathead fishing at nearby Port Albert is worth a visit.

Yarram is a good location for an overnight stop on your road trip through the Strzelecki Ranges, or as a central base with easy quick access to many great locations in all direction. We did the Grand Ridge Rd from East to West stopping in at all the waterfalls and rain forests along the way. Of note was a drive up to Mt Fatigue, Tertons Creek, and around Mt Worth in pouring rain. Mt Fatigue in the wet only 2WD if you're highly skilled. We did it in a 4cyl Captiva, but there were moments we thought we would have to turn back. Ran standard tyres at 18psi which helped greatly. The Tarra Valley is beautiful, and we highly recommend the drive to or from Yarram.

A bird watchers paradise suitable for people with a disability. There is a wide range of food outlets and service stations for fuel. The Yarram country club is a great venue with reasonable prices for food and drink. Plenty of historical buildings for those into architecture. A great way point to the Tarra Bulga NP and lots of beach access.
