Location very peaceful with beautiful country views. Accommodation was so comfortable and spotlessly clean contained everything you could possibly need. Bed warm and comfortable- shower nice and hot! Hosts are most accommodating and have a wonderful knowledge of their animals and the surrounding area. ANIMALS ARE SO FRIENDLY AND BEAUTIFUL. Will definitely return

Obviously the view and the pool and the layout is fantastic.. The cottage itself was small but adequate. Disappointed that there were no interior photos to judge the accommodation by. Disappointed also that as the venue is so far away from Yass and the road in is difficult (we are country people and had a four wheel drive but I suspect a city person in a small car would find it challenging.) Because it is so far away from Yass we were advised to bring our own food which we did but there was only two of everything, plates knives, forks etc a tiny fry pan and one saucepan and no exhaust fan in the kitchen. It looked sweet but was inadequate in terms of kitchen facilities. Bathroom mirror was inadequate and no vanity unit or shelf to put out toiletries. Bed was ok but shook when my husband moved. No wardrobe.
Having said that, our host was absolutely lovely and we really appreciated her understanding when we arrived several hours late due to illness. and the set up for the dog was great.

A lovely historic town with a great walk near the river. The closeness to Canberra was very beneficial as I heard Vivaldi, some Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Paganini played by the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne which consisted of 5 stringed instruments and a Spanish baritone soloist. Yass is a super cute little country town with lots of character and cool old Victorian buildings. I'm a building and house creeper, so love wandering around local streets checking out the architecture. There are a few great cafes and restaurants, and a handful of shops - nothing too fancy. The Yass river provides some nice spots to hike or picnic and the town has a handful of interesting historic places.

Comfortable clean spacious room. The mattress on bed gave a good nights sleep. Loved the outside grassed area with bar b q facilities and interesting "decorations"(didn't stay long enough to use bar b q). Easy stroll to town for food and drinks.

It's a lovely town, with magnificent buildings.
It's a lovely town, with magnificent buildings. We tried the Soldiers Club for a meal, and it was good. Last time we went to a pub, and that was good too. We had afternoon tea at the bakery again. Great place to stop for the night, and a lovely walk into town across the bridge.

Although some of the inclusions were typical of an older style motel, everything made for a relaxing stay.
