yelgun itself is surrounded byt he billinugal state forest and close to beaches with no tourists. we found we were only 10 minutes frm brunswick heads were we tended to eat and enjoy the beaches. it was easy to get to byron bay and or mount waring for hikers . there is no need to stay inthe main towns if youhave your own transport. we ate a the brunswick hotel .they also have live music every sundcay late afternoon. most of the cafes and restuarants were all fantastic.
