Coconut Court Beach Hotel, hotel in Bridgetown

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Historic Bridgetown & Garrison Area, this family-run beachfront hotel offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

I like very much the location, very close to the beach. I stayed in the apartments and even when they are not in front of the beach they have a lot of space and facilities and it was possible to walk to some of the beaches of the place.

Pirate's Inn, hotel in Bridgetown

Located 5 km from downtown Bridgetown and 3 minutes from Accra Beach, this 2-story inn features a large courtyard with pool and deck. Free Wi-FI is offered in all areas.

The breakfast menu catered to all my favourite dishes. Service was quick and affordable. Despite a public food court within proximity and offering a vast selection of dishes, Pirate's Inn restaurant was secondary to none.

    Bridgetown, Barbados.

Bridgetown, Barbados. Its excellent reputation did not disappoint. The renowned Bajan, (Barbadian) hospitality was always displayed when inquiring about unfamiliar subjects. Bajans seem eager to help with directions to places of interest, restaurants, or knowing the history of Barbados. Some of my favourite places I visited included the Animal Flower Cave, The Barbados Museum and Sam Lord's Castle. Beaches include Carlisle's Beach, Pebbles Beach and Haywood Beach in Speightstown. Oistin's Fish Market and other places such as restaurants that serve local dishes, must be on your list of places to eat. Do not be afraid to take local public transportation; the authorized fare is $3.50 (bds) irrespective of distance. While on the beach, avoid the poisonous manchineel trees. They are painted in red around their trunks to point out the danger.

Lanterns mall was decent with a variety of stores but most were closed. I had delivered from seven oh 11, not very good, food was extremely spicy. I would reccommend maybe staying in a different location from worthing, Christ Church.

We were really disappointed to see that the Waterfront was all boarded up and were informed that there was a regeneration plan for this area. We hope that it will be done for when we return. It gets very hot in town so a quick dash to shops and then back to the beach. Could do with some more fun shops and not just duty free stores. Also some nice restaurants would be beneficial.

Ate in a gorgeous beachfront restaurant about 10 min walk from resort. Easy to get around on foot. Town centre is very small. Not much to see historically. Parliament building wasn't sign posted. Beaches were nice.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good location. Short walk from many amenities. The room had everything required. It was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a shame the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked. There were rooms with balcony but we were given one without a balcony. My husband said he visited there before and it was a much better place. We were told that the place had new owners, so that could be the difference. We did enjoy having breakfast close to the beach which was the highlight of our visit. The water at the beach was a little rough during our stay, but it was a pretty site to watch the boats go out on the water. It was easy to get around. I did go to the market place where I purchased some fruits, bread and souvenirs, but I don't think we would return there anytime soon.

I would highly recommend this hotel as an excellent choice for transit travelers seeking beachfront accommodations. The hotel boasts a stunningly beautiful beach and spacious rooms that are both simple in design and impeccably clean. Additionally, its prime location across from several restaurants, a pharmacy, and a wine store adds to its appeal. The staff at this hotel is known for their exceptional friendliness and hospitality. Lastly, the hotel's beach offers a magnificent setting to witness breathtaking sunsets.

The property had a certain old charm. The staff were very welcoming and helped us settle in for our 1 night stay. The property is close to Bridgetown, Bay Street and Carlisle Bay if you want busyness. We were in Hummingbird, the room had what we needed. Plus, had a lovely day bed/ swing on the terrace, overlooking the pool. With a table and chairs. Great sea views from the garden. Nice dining room, bar area. There was a party on that night, thought it was going to be noisy and disruptive, but it wasn’t.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The bistro (same management) on the beach is good. It’s in a lovely quiet spot between the acres of pay-for sunliungers nearer town and the big hotels at the S end of the bay. It’s an easy swim from the beach to the wrecks that are mobbed with tours from about 10am. The rooms are basic but everything works. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the middle of Bridgetown. Go along the beach, the road is busy and foot way often blocked.

This hotel is location just on the best beach in Barbados (the horses swimming in the morning just by the hotel is an extra plus). The rooms are spacious and the staff is very nice. Some might argue that the building needs refurbishment but it just has the Island charm. Hotel is in a quite area yet conveniently close to a couple of small convenience stores for late night needs, pharmacy and gas station. We had room service and food was good.

The beach is BEAUTIFUL and only a few yards from the rooms. The hotel is easy to find and only about twenty minutes from the airport. The staff is super helpful and nice. Jah was really friendly and helped us learn a lot about the island. The restaurant is right on the beach so you can have food and drinks under the tent or brought to your beach chair!

Nice room with good facilities, great pools and lots of sun beds which made during the day very relaxing. The beach at the hotel was great with gorgeous views of the bay. We requested a quiet room, so they put us on a higher floor with a balcony over looking the bay which was perfect. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.

The hotel is located nicely on the beach and has good amenities. It is located in a quite area so it’s perfect if you want to stay away from the busy areas. Breakfast was good and the food/drinks by the pool as well. There was some good entertainment by the pool too. Best part of it all is waling up to the ocean view

This is a hotel that trains people how to run a hotel. They are doing a good job. Breakfast was included and good. The hotel is walking distance from the beach, and the beach is wonderful. There is a boardwalk with paintings. Don't miss it. I would return to this place as it is an excellent stop over.

Great location, mid way between Bridgetown and airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right on almost a private beach, and a beautiful palm tree outlook. Well stocked kitchenette and good supermarkets nearby. Rooms large and welcoming. Would stay again in preference to any other Barbados hotel.

Silvester, the host, was very accommodating and could not do enough for you. The property is close enough to Bridgetown to walk to but is also not far from a bus stop if you prefer not to walk! There were a couple of shops (including a bakery and supermarket) near to the property.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were excellent. A special thanks to Chef Toni Simpson who cooked to perfection some Wahoo and Tuna fish that we had caught on a fishing trip that morning. This was the best tasting fish we have ever eaten!
