Quieter than Dhaka, busier than Shylet and less natural beauty than Moulvibazar. Has good foot outlets, overall. Evening street food is good has lots of sea food options. Kaptai lake is good if you are into nature and Bandarbon is good, they also have cave in Aloo Tilaa where you can do a “cave walk”.

Chittagong Division is a breathtakingly beautiful region of Bangladesh that boasts lush green hills, sparkling waterfalls, and fascinating indigenous culture. The scenic beauty of the area is mesmerizing, and the friendly locals and their unique way of life make it an enriching experience. However, it's worth noting that the area is relatively undeveloped, and the infrastructure can be basic. Nonetheless, for travelers seeking off-the-beaten-track adventure and an authentic experience of Bangladesh, Chittagong division is an excellent choice.

I recently stayed at the Peninsula chittagong Hotel for a weekend getaway and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were soft and luxurious.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant, which served delicious, locally-sourced food that was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of nearby attractions and activities to keep me entertained.
Overall, I can't recommend the Peninsula chittagong Hotel highly enough. The attention to detail, level of service, and quality of amenities truly made my stay unforgettable. I can't wait to come back and visit again!"

I Stayed two nights with my spouse, one Kid and one infant. The complementary breakfast was awesome having huge options. Location of the hotel is a beautiful scenic place easily accesible to any direction of the city. A number of restaurants just located infront of hotel offering variuos cuisins. Highly recommened.
The location of the hotel and the room size are the two most liked parts of my stay in the hotel. The room was really spacious, I would say very large. The location is great, in the city center. Varities of restaurants, shopping places, and ATMs are close by.
Nothing they run the hotel through local broker, and not provided the room at the listed rate which I booked on Booking.com, they simply denied to check in. This is not the hotel this is like prostitute centre located in a very slum area

1. Clean and spacious rooms
2. Attentive staff even at late nights.
3. Late night menu ( room service till 4 am)
Breakfast was a little disappointing. Not many items and generally poor quality. It would be good if the hotel could improve on their breakfast offering considering the price range of the hotel.
Very accommodating staff ensuring my breakfast are pre packed because of my early departure. Even ensure my take away coffee is always warm. Hotel room has a good view too.
The place was very clean, homely and well maintained. Mr. Monir was extremely helpful and cordial. Definitely plan to stay here in my next visit to Chittagong.
There was bad smell inside the hotel, and the room was not cleared properly, and bed cover & pillow was not clean and the quality of blanket was very poor.
Pleasant hotel hidden in the market next to the railway station with a very friendly staff. Ideal for couple days exploring with all facilities near by.
