The location is superb, a building with character in the middle of a nice park with a lake. It was great to be able to sit and walk outside. The rooms are spacious. The staff was very friendly; during breakfast they did everything to make our breakfast enjoyable.

Great hotel for the Grand Prix, you come at the car parking entrances from the opposite side of the motorway so very little traffic.
Great hosts who managed to get me a spaghetti bolognaise at 10pm when I got back from the track.

Alfersteg is a very small village located near Saint-Vith.
It is surrounded by forests and hills and is a good location if you're after a quiet, rural getaway.
It doesn't really have any amenities, the closest being at Saint-Vith which is only 10-15 minutes away by car. The E42 is a similar distance.
I didn't notice any signs indicating that it had a bus service and so I would say that having your own transport is a necessity.
