The Etty room was clean and the bathroom was a good size and clean. Room was well heated. We could open the windows easily. Good storage space. Also a very good touch to have the mini fridge, we used it to keep our dog's food refridgerated and our drinks cold. Beds, duvets, pillows were comfy and of good quality. Free parking is good. A well maintained property. The staff were lovely, polite and attentive. Nice relaxed vibe at De Grote Wateringe. The Etty room felt a bit small and enclosed with the slanted roof/wall, so the room would have been even better if it was bigger but we understand that is the size of the room, not much which can be done about that, this is the only reason for giving a smiley face rating for the questions on the room as oppose to a super smiley face. Thank you very much to the staff for making De Grote Wateringe a lovely place to stay.

It is an excellent B&B, super clean, and well located meaning a short 15-20 minutes car ride from Bruges city centre. We are a family of 4 and we stayed at the big apartment which is more than comfortable. Our friends (a couple) who were travelling with us stayed at the confort room and it was equally comfortable, spacious and on the ground floor level with access to a beautiful garden. The breakfast was unique! Over all we felt like we were in a house of friends and they were spoiling us therefore whenever we will revisit beautiful Bruges we will stay there again for sure.
Offering guest rooms with free WiFi, B&B altijd genieten enjoys a peaceful location in the countryside within a 5-minute drive from Damme and 12 km from medieval Bruges.

My hosts were very welcoming, the room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, modern and quiet.
Because the accommodation is outside Brugge, the host arranged for a friend to take me to the train the next day, which was very appreciated. The restaurant nearby was a great find as well.

It is a stunning village surrounded by countryside.
It is a stunning village surrounded by countryside. There was a small festival on while we were there held by the Rotary club with oyster and champage bars, which was very special. The town hall also had an exhibition on and the boutique shops were charming to visit. There are a great selection of restaurants and cafes, with a mixture of fine dining and more casual dining.
We had a fantastic weekend. The hosts paid great attention to detail, making us feel super comfortable.
Both the kitchen window and the bedroom side window offered stunning views of a vast and serene field.
The Christmas decorations, candles, and wood stove created the perfect cozy atmosphere while exploring Bruges and Damme.
