I've had the pleasure of writing reviews for La Fête au Palais before, and I am always happy to do so, because I keep going back to stay - which is probably the best way to praise this wonderful place. The owners are very charming and helpful, and the food, if you use the restaurant, always good. Breakfast is excellent, and if you are keen to try Belgian beers, then this is the hotel for you - a very wide choice indeed.

It's very hard to understand that the very negative reviews on here were of the same place we stayed.
We stayed in a modern annex up the hill from the chateau. Was modern, clean, well laid out, reminiscent of a ski lodge.
We went to the spa which was really nice, free towels, friendly staff, good facilities. (was a sunny day in May).
We went to the restaurant and the food was plentiful and excellent. They only have a buffet for breakfast and dinner. We thought breakfast at 18EUR was better value than dinner at 50EUR but felt that this was still OK as the food quality was great for both meals. Lots of choice, staff nice and friendly again.
Grounds are beautiful. Bar was nice. Terrace overlooking the forest and the lake was fantastic. Would make an outstanding wedding venue IMO.
We were sharing rooms but paid a great rate, far better than an equivalent in the UK. Would recommend this all day long.

This place is just amazing! Stunning location and view, comfortable and very clean room (we were in the Carillon), immense garden well maintained, plenty of activities to do outdoor, great breakfast

Easy to access, very close to motorway. Lost of free parking. 24h reception, so I was able to sign-in after midnight. All places were very clean. Friendly stuff. Very extensive breakfast selection and warm part of breakfast was cooked after order (=yammy). There should be more hotels like this!!!
