Machelen has a tired and dejected air about it.
Machelen has a tired and dejected air about it. There looks like some work to improve its look may have been started but definitely work in progress. We wandered around the centre of the town and most of the shops and restaurants are closed. Found a couple of places open. The most memorable part of our stay is the constant noise from aircraft taking off from Brussels airport every few minutes drowning out any chance of conversation. I'm not surprised that restaurants are closed! It's very unlikely that we will want to stay again in Machelen.PeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Excellent location and superb price/value relation. I found everything that was offered on the website just as you see in pictures. Very clean and a beautiful and cozy place. Better than any other room offered at the same price.
