Everything was perfect. Super cozy house, super friendly hosts, the breakfast was perfect, the bed was comfy. Very modern and beautiful house. Free parking next to the house. Beautiful surroundings. And an awesome collection of Peugeot model cars! We also purchased some nice pottery.

Peacefully located in the countryside, 14 minutes by car from historical Diksmuide and a 16-minute drive from Ypres, you can find the self-catering De Paprente.

I had travelled to see three of the spring Flanders races and ride some of the course myself. The location meant easy access to the routes. I had the most wonderful hosts and they were incredibly helpful, and they provided everything I needed and more. A very well equipped apartment above their garage, with numerous small touches. Not missing anything at all. The breakfast options were plentiful. Would not hesitate to return in the future.

The house has all comforts and a big garden, which is really a plus. There are also lots of toys for kids to play outside and inside, much appreciated. The host is very nice, replies rapidly to messages and even left fresh eggs from her farm on the table for us! We really enjoyed our stay! The house is also ideal for longer stays, since you have all the necessary comforts, including modern washing machine and dryer.

Very well maintained, the gardens were lovely & well looked after. Bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and beds were particularly comfortable. Dining area was well laid out, decor was nice. 10 minute drive to Ypres, which is where we were going for sight seeing so that was nice. The lady working there (didn’t catch her name unfortunately) was very pleasant and made us welcome.

Only 15 km from Ypres and 24 km from the coast (De Panne), Het Heilig Genot offers bright rooms with a country style décor and view of the garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
