Clearly not a tourist destination, but suited our needs.

Clearly not a tourist destination, but suited our needs. Nothing much here other than car showrooms and a few pretty boring towns. We enjoyed the peace of the lake but nothing else exciting to do here other than visit ghent.

Everything was correct. We were given a room without kettle and which smelled (smoking?), and there was no fuss about it, we were just given another room. The room itself is spacious, well furnished with chairs and additional table, and laptop space. Bed and linen of good quality. Nice terrace. The breakfast is very good for European habits and the sitting area is incredibly large (you won't have to wait to sit) with space also outdoors. Sufficient parking space. Very good hotel to stop on the way to wherever you go, nest to the highway.

The restaurant and the bar were really good. All staff members were very helpful. [They have an alcohol vending machine! First I have seen, but you need a European ID to operate it] The hotel is slightly away from the city center, so depending on what you want to do make sure you book the correct hotel as there are two by the same name. [part of our group booked the wrong hotel - but the one closer to the city is a bit more posh!]

The room was spacious and it had a nice decoration. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very big. The staff was friendly. Even though it was next to the highway there was no noise in the room (which was facing to the front). The hotel is located in an exit of the highway next to a gas station (which also has a small store 24/7). For this type of hotel, it exceeded our expectations.

Despite the location of the hotel, there was almost no noise from the highway. A large hotel with a large number of rooms, there will always be a room to check in.

Very nice hotel, doggie friendly, fantastic restaurant and breakfast - ideal for transit with a family. Quiet,if you consider it is in front of the motorway.

The hotel is along the motorway, and in our case that suited us perfectly. If you want to visit the surrounding area, it might not be the best location.
