"Arheya 8" flat is modern and beautifully furnished, with exceptional facilities and cleanness! It truly exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful an nice!
There was everything we needed for our stay- electrical appliances, bathroom facilities and toiletries, coffee and tea!
The flat is situated in the beautiful historic district in Karlovo, with an easy access to the town center, museums and restaurants.

As the birthplace of Vasil Levski, Karlovo is obviously full...
As the birthplace of Vasil Levski, Karlovo is obviously full of history - this is where Levski and many another 'awakener' who launched the Bulgarian independence movement in the 19th century came from. The Levski Museum and the National History Museum Karlovo are both well worth visiting - as are the other buildings relating to the Bulgarian enlightenment. And if Bulgarian history isn't your thing, Karlovo is also the starting point for some mighty hikes in the Balkan - most notably up to Botev Peak. That gave me a sense that the hotel was solid and professionally run. The manager (Petya) was very helpful to me in helping me plan my next train journeys, even looking up the times on the computer screen at the reception desk. That was very much appreciated. Her English was good. The room was large and clean with good facilities. WiFi was good.

I would definitely recommend staying in hotel Central! Everything I wanted was available in the room, it was clean and in perfect order. But I think the best part of hotel Central is the staff. Special thanks to Dimitar who was very kind and even helped me to sort out my trip to the Stara Planina and helped me by contacting some mountain huts. All in all a great place to stay, run by very helpful people!
