Ruse is a very small town. The restaurants are quite good and the prices are very affordable. It also felt very safe to walk around. Like most of Bulgaria, the first trip on your own could be a little bewildering. Try not to use chain hotels and restaurants - customer-service is not part of staff training!! Ruse is a very sweet town on the Danube River, with beautiful architecture. We only spent two nights there but enjoyed some very excellent meals and did a little shopping. We also drove out to the Basarbova monestary nearby. .

The location of the hotel is very close to the town (everything is a 10-minute walk away from the hotel). I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit the city of Ruse again. I can recommend it to everyone
