Very clean hotel, modern rooms and private bathrooms. The host Silvia received me warmly when I arrived with the night bus at 5 am. Welcoming and helpful personnel, responded immediately to all my requests. Highly recommend for a stay in Tupiza.
Our essence was born in 1956 with a small grocery store and a friendly 2-room guest house. Essence that we try to show affection in the creative recycled decoration of the hotel.

We loved this place and to be honest the pictures somehow don't do it justice. It is large airy and very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and two large bathrooms, one en-suite. Communication was easy all along and the host kindly let us get the keys early. The kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked one night at home. As mentioned in other reviews, it is well-located for everything you want to do in Tupiza even for the walk to Puerta del Diablo. The shower was good and the water was hot. The Wifi worked fine. It is also great value for such a large place. Definitely recommend.

The owner was very friendly! The hostel is quite new (looked like they were still finishing the building), and everything was clean! Overall good price-quality ratio.

Tupiza was fairly small city.
Tupiza was fairly small city. I stayed there instead of nastier/bigger uiuni in preparation for salt flat tour. Instead of preparing a with a for agency. I rolled into the first 6am collectivo to Uiuni, walked into an agency and an hour later I was in a group in a 4by4 headed out to salt flats. Maybe extra blessed( ? )but it all worked out. The agency :Playa Blanca (30$US) provided an excellent driver. We hit all the usual stops. We were NOT rushed and got to see the sun set all the way over the absolutely amazing salt flats.
Tupiza is not a tourist town. Saw very few travelers . Horseback riding available
(I didn't) Hot Bolivian girls. Good street food. Train was running: N to Uiuni or S to Argentina border, but at night so no sightseeing.
Very clean, spacious room. Amazing breakfast. Very secure, free parking for our motorcycles in a lot very close to the hotel. Hostess, Silvia, was so concerned about our comfort and needs - she is amazing. She works very hard to make sure her guests are satisfied, and her care and hospitality combined with the facilities and the breakfast, taking the location into account, all add up to my giving this the highest rating I have ever given any hotel, and I have travelled all over the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels.
The apartment is in a really quite area and a typical Barrio of Tupiza. Is not in the center of the city, but you can walk in 20 minutes to it. Close to the house you have a lot of options to buy some groceries, food and on some days there is a market. The bed was really comfy and the apartment offers a lot of space. It was clean and I really liked the patio and the terrace. There you have a really nice view on the Cerro de la Cruz!
This is the place to stay at in Tupiza.
The location is great, everything is clean, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is excellent. And most importantly, the family owning & running the place is the nicest you'll ever meet.
They offer tours. I did go horse riding & their horses are in good health & sweet rides in this wonderful canyon area
Very friendly and helpful staff! Very easy to book a salt flat tour in the office that is located in the same building (Tupiza Tours, which is a great company).
Cleaning is very properly and breakfast extensive compared to similarly priced accommodations. The common spaces are also nice to hang around.
The perfect place to relax! Great rooms, very clean bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. It's very well located in Tupiza, close to the food market, the center, and many stores. Lots of space to hang your laundry in the yard. Of course, the pool is amazing during hot summer days.
The location was within easy walking distance to the centro area of Tupiza. We liked the secured parking. Sylvia was a wonderful host and made extra efforts to help ensure our stay was a success. Her suggestions for day trips were helpful. The included breakfast was very good.
Lovely hosts, sparkling clean, huge rooms, great showers with lots of hot water, great Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. Also great laundry service. Just a short walk across the bridge to the centre. Definitely the place to stay in Tupiza!
We arrived on a bus from Potosí at 03:30am. The hotel were able to accommodate a check in during the night with 24hr reception. We had a tour starting at 07:30am and were able to have breakfast before our tour as breakfast started at 07:00am. Hot showers

Very friendly hosts in a clean and comfortable hotel. Buffet breakfast, hot shower, and comfortable beds. Just be aware that the location is across the bridge. For me it's an easy and safe walk... even good lighting if returning after dark.
Comfy beds, good amenities, and good breakfast. Good hot showers. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Pet friendly hotel. It’s a great place to stay before and after four day tours.
Great Hostal in Tupiza. Walking distance to bus station and "centre".
Really friendly hosts, serving a nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Good shared kitchen, social.
I arrived early in the morning and they let me check-in in advance and even upgraded me in a single room (booked a dorm). The hotel is really nice and clean and well located
Lovely hotel corridors & stairways. Convenient location. Good breakfast (fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, bread rolls with butter & jam, pot of yogurt, fried egg, banana).
