The hotel was great for an overnight stay prior to flying with a great bar area and a lovely breakfast. Asked for a room that was higher up with a view of the airport and they did this for us free of charge. The room had a smart TV. Plenty of restaurants around.

Excellent! The staff service are friendly, attentive and provide an excellent customer service. The facilities are great, with taxis nearby, a umbrella rental, and a great breakfast selection. The rooms did not lack anything, and the "budget" concept means having an empty mini-fridge in the room. In Sao Paulo, shopping centres are the places where you find all your essential services, and the shopping Morumbi seals the deal with great restaurants and eateries.

Great location in Jardin, near Avenida Paulista, shops and banking. a variety of restuarants. The hotelm had a fairly large gym plus a large swimming pool, and outdoor terrace at the rear of the hotel. It also had a convenient restaurant located in the lobby of the hotel. Skyscrapers and the frenzy of busy Sao Paulo are matched by countless gastronomic offerings, endless cultural activities, and a busy nightlife.
Founded by Jesuits in 1554, the city also known as Sampa became a powerful industrial hub in the late 19th-century with Greater Sao Paulo now boasting almost 20 million inhabitants. Attracting immigrants from all over the world, it became the most ethnically diverse city in Brazil.

The city is a nice place for those looking for a variety of restaurants. It is a very expensive place, with an awful traffic, reasonable public transportation (outside rush hours, please), and some interesting cultural activities. Although the city is deemed unsafe, in the more central/fancy areas, it is as safe any other big metropole. There are also very good shopping options.

Sao Paulo isn't the biggest tourist place to go in Brazil but it has lots to do and it's amazing! We felt safe at all times but of course, we took precautions such as keeping our valuables out of sight. But at no point, we felt in danger.

One of the best cities in the world, reminds NYC for its size, skylines and demographic complexity, but with a better public transportation, tropical weather, way cleaner then NY and Paris, warmer and more welcoming people then most places in the world, food is way better then most big international cities and all the restaurants are not overpriced, basically the life quality in S.Paulo is superior to the mainstream big capitals of the world and you can basically live better then a king without being a millionaire.

There is too many homeless people but do not harm.
There is too many homeless people but do not harm. This only makes the environment dirty and smelly. If you secure yourself, if you do bot put yourself in a bad situation like going alone in the late night to somewhere yo do not know, this ofc attracts danger.
Sao Paulo is very nice. I believe 3-4 days will be enough for the city.
I highly recommend Ibirapuera Park. You can spend your whole day away from the chaos. And I can recommend Sala Sao Paulo. You can watch concerts inside, and it quite cheap.

Monstermegacity.
Monstermegacity. Unless you have something specific to do there, go somewhere else like Rio. Endless streets and tall buildings, felt like a city prison. Very Friendly people though, and you can find everything you might look for in a big city. Good restaurants, parties, and yoga studios. I spent three days and was so happy to leave.

Great destination. Only 2 cons! Must read.
1. Sim card registration requires a Brazilian ID#. When I purchased sim card, I was never informed of this requirement. Even though I asked the cashier for assistance. They instructed me to do it myself knowing I was a foreigner with no Brazilian ID#!
2. No ATM access for my USA Visa debit card! I had to use my CC and Uber since I was unable to withdrawal $!
The staff went out if their way to make my stay in Sāo Paulo amazing-really over and above anything I expected. It was my first time in Brazil, and they really made it a great, comfortable, fun experience. Location is superb: very safe and just around the corner from the park and some amazing museums. Room was small but very functional (I worked there in the morning), with a comfy bed and everything was really clean. Breakfast was the best I had in a really long time. Couldn't recommend enough!
The building is very spacious with all the basic facilities needed in a home and also very clean. The environment is quite and the location is centralised and with just a little walk down the road is a market to meet your cooking requirements. The Landlord and the daughter, even though they don't live there, were very supportive. I enjoyed everything about the studio and I recommend Catumbi Studio for travellers who wish to have an amazing stay in Sao Paulo, Brazil
The location of the hotel is excellent if you are planning to spend just a day or two in Sao Paulo and all you want to visit is Paulista (the vibrant avenue) and one of the largest urban park (Ibirapuera) where you can see many black swans and people watch during the weekends. Breakfast was decent. But I really loved the opportunity to prepare toast with multiple different types of cheese inside it. I really liked the melted cheese inside the toasted bread. :)
The location is perfect. It's a safe district of São Paulo, relatively close to city center, next to metro Station and many good bar and restaurants. You can go around on foot and take a Uber with minimum cost because every is around.
The hotel by itself is quite clean, the room could be more, have some food and beverage options to buy 24/7 usind a credit card, a small but functional gym and a small place where you can wash your things.
The staff was professional and helpful. Mario at the front desk was able to solve a small problem we had quickly and professionally. He is great. All the staff was very helpful. Great breakfast as well. The location could not be better in a nice upscale area of the city, close to good shopping options and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Considering the cost, this one of the best hotel options in Sao Paulo.
My stay at O de Casa was amazing. Genuinely the nicest hostel (common area, bathrooms etc.) I've been to in Brazil, but it's the people that made special. The staff is always so fun to hang around with, happy to give great recommendations for things to do in Sao Paulo and ready to take you to local parties! I wish I could rate O de Casa higher than 10/10!!!
Although I don’t speak much Portuguese, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean. The wifi was good which was necessary for my work. Breakfast had a good amount of options. Room was clean, smelled good, and didn’t smell of smoke. Also one of the better gym options I’ve seen in my travels in Brazil.
An amazing hotel with quality and spacious rooms, with a marvellous view on São Paulo city from high floors, very good food and breakfast, excellent service and customer attention, high quality of bedding, towels, full minibar. The best hotel in Brazil I stayed in
Great location. Carpark onsite (not affiliated with Ibis). Bed was comfortable and consistent with the Ibis brand in Europe. Breakfast was as expected with a Brazilian twist - nothing earth-shattering, but not bad either. Staff were polite and friendly.
The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly. Especially for a first time trip to Brazil. Location was good for quiet area between two busier sections, so it seemed. The room was good size and nice amenities. Mini balcony and good view.
Great location in the heart of Liberdade, the Japanese quarter of São Paulo. Lots of souvenir shops, authentic Japanese restaurant and safe vibes. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious.
The breakfast was good. There is some charm in being in an old quarter of São Paulo which once was the best district in town for a hotel. The urban vistas in a high floor room are interesting.
Currency exchange is in next building.
The breakfast was good.
All the staff was kind and welcome. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I go to Brazil next time.
Very good hotel in the good location of Sao Paulo. It is brand new. It has small swimming pool, fitness room and sauna. The rooms are spacious with everything new
The whole staff was super friendly, welcoming and helped me with a lot of things to start and plan my journey through Brazil. I highly recommend staying here.
Good location i the heart of Sao Paulo.
Staff were very accommodating and helpful.
Good variety of foods available at breakfast and at the hotel restaurant.
