The Refuge is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views across the St Lawrence. There’s a deck out front to relax and enjoy the views and listen to the rushing stream nearby. There’s also a fully enclosed BBQ area which is great in the evenings to avoid insect attacks. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery plus a decent range of cooking appliances. Jacques was lovely and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough run through of all the property’s features.

Nice and quiet little village. The only thing that gets me everytime is that basically all the restaurants are closed as of 9pm so don’t arrive there late if you haven’t eaten. Otherwise amazing cute little town.

Great in a lot of way!!!
Great in a lot of way!!! Like the nearby walks, the art galleries, was near a lot of attractions, everything was either a short walk of a short/moderate drive.
The only drawback is the food--the restaurants were extremely expensive and the food there was at best so so. On one evening I ended up with some serious indigestion. There are lots of nearby grocery stores, though, with lots of variety at pretty reasonable cost.

Thanks to Regis, an affable, generous and most entertaining host and charming Anne Marie for making our stay comfortable and smooth. And yes, the breakfast much like the room we stayed in is impeccable and well thought out.

Lovely town surrounded by gorgeous scenery - especially in the Fall! Streets are lined with well-restored, historic houses and eateries (especially Joe's Smoked Meat!). Lots of galleries and local artwork (at the pricey end) and super-easy for strolling around and riverside walks.

Baie St Paul is a small town packed with wonderful art galleries with art from mostly local artists. I have already bought 2 paintings over the years from an artist who lives not far from the town of Baie St Paul. After seeing his work, I called him and he invited me to see his work in his home. How friendly is that!

Plenty of Space for a small family and everything you need from comfortable beds to well equipped kitchen. Good Coffee machine, the best one we had in Canada! Great location in a cute wooden house, very close to the town center, to a great park around the corner, but still very quiet.
Many thanks to Mario and François! The Gite Fleury is great, the hosts were very lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing! If ever back in Baie-Saint-Paul, definitely going to stay with Mario and François again!
Great view and location - you will need to drive to the restaurants in the town - but a great little town worth the visit. Hosts are fantastic and there is also a guest kitchen should you wish to eat in.
Lovely old home converted to a Hotel. Set off the Main Street of shops with a lovely deck of the back and quiet backyard with chairs and garden swings. Friendly staff, clean and well appointed rooms.
The room is renovated, the matress was confortable and the location was incredible. Also the restaurant attached to the Auberge was delicous, overall it was a five star experience.
We visited in winter. Site is very tranquil with great views of the Charlevoix Chalet has a nice balance of rustic and modern . Bathroom and kitchens very functional and modern
The spa was really a bonus! Our room was a bit small but overall very nice. Wonderful breakfast! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again...
