I went to study and take proctored exams, however I didn't mention this at time of booking and was given a room right next to the elevator. After my 1st exam taken in this room I was stressed as you could hear talking out side my door while waiting for their elevator and this could affect my whole course. So, I asked if I could be moved to a quiet room. The staff was AHMAZING!! So polite and helpful. I really appreciated them. Would so stay there again for the same reason.

The security guards and night managers were creepy and power tripping

It is a small town, with lots of commerce that big towns/cities have. If you don't want to live in a big bustling city, Bowmanville is close enough to a big city that you could go to a show or sports game and still return home within a resaonable time.
This Private rooms - BnbbookingCA Bowmanville was a scam, (Admitted by Customer Service employee!)
I got ripped off of $416 that I paid by e-transfer as requested - Booking.com refuses to pay me back for this outrageous situation and I have had to relocate on the spot on a late Friday night, Bowmanville is a very small town with little options for rental, especially on a long weekend. In the end, I have payed over $1200 in room rental for 3 nights.
When I read the reviews about the hotel, I was expecting to see the worst but when I got there I was quite impressed. It wasn't the best though but the room was comfortable and decent. The cleaner was also really nice, the only thing I didn't like was with the front desk, I wasn't able to get enough help from the lady that was there, most times I just had to do what I needed to do by myself.
Right from the beginning, staff were welcoming and helpful. Check in was smooth and quick. The hotel is clean and quiet. The room was well stocked. The in room fireplace and jacuzzi tub were welconed additions. The accessible parking is right out front, steps to the entrance. The rooms are spacious, yet cozy. Breakfast selections were great quality and variety.
The breakfast was good but the day we were there. there was no butter available. The location is good but a little tricky to find as there's no direct driveway from the road off of highway 57. You have to navigate several turns with no signage about the hotel to guide you. Booking in and out was efficient and helpful. Nice towels in the bathroom.
This hotel is so clean the staff are very accommodating very friendly I would highly recommend this hotel when you’re in the Bowmanville area very good convenient area I have nothing negative to say about this hotel
Rooms were a decent size. I appreciate having larger bottles of shampoo and conditioner rather than the tiny ones often found in hotels. Good selection of hot and cold items at breakfast.
The hotel is perfectly located close to the 401. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet. There were many options and the food was fresh and hot.
We appreciated that the hotel was available at all during the Covid time. The facilities were reasonably good, and the staff tried their best under the circustances.
Excellent stay. Do not book queen size room though very small and room had little window looking up at a roof.
Otherwise staff and hotel were excellent.😄
