My visit was very short (12 hours) mostly in a motel.
My visit was very short (12 hours) mostly in a motel. We drove to a grocery store around 9:00 pm shortly after we checked in. I very much liked the quietness of the area. Very much family residential neighbourhood located right by the river. I liked the convenience of the motel near the highway. Everything was very convenient to get to by car - gas, grocery store, Starbucks- all just a few minutes away (approx 5 minutes). Unfortunately, I had to leave 9:00 am next day so was unable to explore Brossard anymore than that. If I am travelling that way again, I definitely would like to explore Brossard

Town adjacent to and serving as a gateway to Montreal and the Eastern Townships. Fantastic shopping complex of Dix30 that has something for everyone in case you are looking for a one-stop shop for commercial activities.

the location made the stay so much more comfortable, we could return to our room quickly when needed... a great place to stay in our opinion. we return every year. There is nothing we did not like other than the retainer of 50$ at check in.

Wonderful hotel!
Wonderful hotel! Antique style, great breakfast, very comfortable. The city needs to paint the road lines out of the hotel as it is a busy and fast driving road, as it feels dangerous to drive out of the parking lot in the night when you can't see the lanes.

Generally speaking a very loud & noisy hotel.
Generally speaking a very loud & noisy hotel. Several guests were at front desk complaining about loud noise levels.
- Guests next door checked in past midnight. Very noisy - service desk did nothing
- All the hotel room doors slam hard & loud. There's no rubber dampeners on door frame, and the door operators are setup to shut door fast & hard. The walls in the room shake when other doors in the hallway shut close.
- Lots of black mold in washroom. Shower area had mold along all edges/ corners.
- Low water pressure, with constant hot/ cold water fluctuation. Impossible to take a shower without constantly adjusting water taps.
- A guest next door brought their own radio and played it very loud. Heard a woman screaming and a man yelling profanity. The odor of marijuana was coming in my room, not sure from which room it was coming from. Hotel Brossard has a no smoking policy but they do not enforce it because it's impossible to figure out which occupants are smoking.
- The cleaning person left behind their cleaning rag on the sink faucet. Very sloppy.
- Bathroom towels were not exchanged even though it was requested.
- Laminate floor in room kept moving around when walking over it. Very poor hotel maintenance.
- Broken AC electrical receptacles in room exposing dangerous live current.
- The shared guest microwave on the main floor was very dirty inside.
- The location of hotel Brossard forces you to drive on the highway anywhere you want to go.
The access to secondary streets was blocked with concrete blocks. This is a big inconveneince if you want to go to local restaurants because you have to drive min. 10 kms in a loop to arrive to Taschereau Blvd where the restaurants are located.
- I would strongly advise anyone, whether travelling alone or with others to avoid this hotel.
It is by far the worst hotel I've had the misfortune of experiencing.
The location was very nice. The mall next to it closes early, but you still get lots of restaurant around there within walking distance. The Italian restaurant connected to the hotel was amazing. Hotel offers breakfast although the room says it doesn't, at least for us. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of choices and staffs were super friendly. Bed was comfy and my mom loved the pillows.
My room was so clean, and had a nice bathroom. The motel is located near Pont Champlain; nevertheless it was quiet inside my room, and I slept really well. The motel is pet friendly. You can walk to a nice park along the riverfront. You can also walk or drive over to Boulevard Rome, where there is a nice selection of Asian restaurants, as well as a Tim Hortons.
The house is beautiful and spacious! It's a great place to stay in when you're in Montreal for a visit. I stayed for few days and it was better than staying in an expensive hotels in the downtown. The place has good rules to keep the place clean. I enjoyed it there a lot!
I checked just before midnight. Hotel staff knocked at my door at 11:00 am to inform us we had to check out immediately. No choice. We did it. We did not have breakfast as breakfast is served before 10:00 am, we were told. Room was great
Hotel chosen because it was near airport without being a 'traditional airport hotel'. It had an old style grandeur without being old. It had large well appointed rooms.
The breakfast was excellent.
The coffee in the morning was delicious! We have stayed at an Alt hotel on other occasions, and have come to appreciate the facility. We stay there on our way back to Ontario each year from PEI.
It’s pet friendly ! If you are smoker they have smoking rooms , couple of them, beer , coffee snacks and soup in cup available
Prices are tight and nobody complain if you are bit loud
There was no breakfast. Too bad the hotel did not have a restaurant that offered breakfast. Packaged and overpriced items at Starbucks is not a good alternative
