Very warm and informative welcome by a lovely receptionist. The room was very clean and well looked after. Housekeeping staff was exceptionally friendly. Room is bright with a big window. Bathroom is clean and all products are provided. Bed and bedding were very comfortable and provided for a good night sleep. Ideal location for visiting UBC and exploring the campus and its surroundings. Trails to the beaches are close by. Small kitchen unit with everything that is needed to prepare meals. There is ample choice from outlets on campus, though. Close to bus stops to downtown with regular services.

Very very bad hotel. The thermostat was not working, and i had to spend the whole night being awake. Blanket size small. Lights in room very very dim. Nobody pickup phone for service in middle of night and until 8am. There was no kettle in room for hot water, no iron in room, and so do iron stand. Everything need to be called and asked for it. Tea bags are not available as well. The place is good but the hotel is outdated. It's definitely not worth it, especially when u go business trips and u have limited time.
