I grew up in this town (now a city) and much has changed.
I grew up in this town (now a city) and much has changed. A little too urbanized for my tastes: too much development along the Lake Ontario shoreline. That being said, I enjoyed my visit to nearby Fifty Point Conservation Area; great picnic facilities, walking trails and a beach.

Front desk kept saying maintenance person left for the night, no other room available to transfer me. The front desk attendance came to my room to try to fix the TV - I appreciate her effort. But the point is A fully occupied hotel with 2024-eclipse viewer guests from all over Canada and US, but no maintenance person to trouble shoot - this is incompetence. The front desk attendant in the morning, Helen, I think couldn’t care less about this.
